Prozon's '93 GS Build

That's what I was thinking. I found one on eBay that was 2 3/8 deep. I have about 2 1/2" to play with. I figure it works out perfect and won't break the bank. My current fan isn't even working lol.

Well I was planning to install my fuel set up today but ran into a few snags.

I proceeded to remove the rear seat, and unscrew the three screws to remove the plate. Little did I know- you can't get to the fuel pump this way. In a second gen the fuel tank must be dropped to access the fuel pump, all that you can access from the vehicle in a second gen is the sending unit.

So I got the car up in the air so I could drop the tank.

I found out that Integra's have a handy little drain plug for the fuel tank. It worked out quite well because I need to put 92 octane in my fuel tank. (Been running 87 octane on my LS motor.) So after I drained 5 gallons of fuel out, made a mess of the shop and covered my arm and shirt in gas.. I finally got the tank down. I used a wire brush and a shop vac to try to clean up the tank a little bit.

I pulled the fuel pump and had planned on installing the walbro, but I am apparently missing the electrical connector. I'm going to look around for it and try to find it.. but i'm fairly certain I don't. I don't think i've ever seen it.. even if I had it from the beginning, the pump has been floating around in my room for the past year. Not sure where it would be now. $8 to buy a new plug off eBay. 2-3 day shipping. Going to try to find something local..

Bah..
/Disapointed

Edit:
I almost forgot.. I had left the work lights under my car on when I went inside to eat.. and it had melted the undercoating of my car lol. I saw that the bottom of the car looked wet and I touched it with my finger to realize I had been melting the undercoating with the lights. Soooooo I tried to keep the lights a bit further away from the car after that lol.

I'll be taking my ECU into the tuning shop tomorrow to get the basemap.

Ordered a 9" slim fan to fit my half radiator. It's 2.5" in it's deepest spot, which should work out because I have exactly 2.5" of room to work with. The deepest spot should have more clearance.. but it will work out.

I also ordered a new plug for my Walbro fuel pump because mine is apparently missing.

It actually comes with a bunch of crap I don't need.. but to order the connector alone from another site would have cost me twice as much. -_-

Haha, I know what you mean. What are your plans for it today? And by the way, what's your DD? I'm sure you have a back up while you're doing this.

Well I am planning to head to the tuning shop here in a little bit. I was going to head out sooner but I just noticed they opened at 9:30. (About 3 minutes ago.)

I will probably install my fuel injectors today and if possible i'll get the IC pipe taken care of. I need to get a 45 degree coupling which I may be able to get from the tuning shop. I'll TRY to get the oil pan and return line done today.. but i've said that like four days in a row lol.

I have to wait til Friday or so until I can get my plug for my fuel pump. Can't finish installing that until it comes. When the plug for the pump comes, I'll also have a fan coming. When that gets here I will finish welding up the radiator mounts and install the fan and radiator permanently.

And you're right, I have another daily driver while I work on this.

1998 Chevy Blazer, 4.3l Vortec motor. It's a beast.

At least there's a little you can do today to keep you busy. Waiting is probably the worst with things like this, haha. 2 doors? Yeah, even though it's a v6 it puts out nicely, I've dealt with a few. My mom's is a lemon, such a piece of shit.

No, it's a 4 door, 4x4. It's actually pretty decent. My transmission 3rd-4th clutch packs are going out. If I ever get around to pulling it i'll throw in a new set of clutches and a shift kit and then do some engine mods. 40k on a new motor, about time to throw some major power adders on right?? Lol.

Anyways, I have plenty to keep me busy on the Integra. I just need to get around to doing it all lol.

Awh yeah off roading. Heck yes it is. Get a throttle body spacer, probably the best bang for yur buck IMO.
I know what you mean, I always have visions and plans but never enough time in a day (or year) to do it all.

Thanks for the tip Endo! I was tossing around the idea of building a little aluminum frame to hold it.

Awh yeah off roading.
That's what this is for. :thumbs up
