Ahaha Tyler, that's why I love you.

Windshield is getting put in today. Dropped it off with a family friend last night. It was costing me $200, but he said he wouldn't charge because my Dad is hauling one of his machines. (But I still think i'm losing $200 to my Dad hahah.)

I'm going to go pick it up later today and ask him about building me an exhaust for the turbo setup!
So :flipoff: Tyler. Haha.

To quote myself from Facebook..
"The Integra is back in my hands with a shiny new windshield. It's kind of weird being all clear.. it's like nothing is there at all. I miss my smashed windshield, I want my privacy again. Haha."

The windshield is.. so weird... it's all clear... and without cracks....
Anyways when I get another sunny day I will clean up the car and post up pictures!

So I decided to check my mileage, just got home from the gas station to discover I was getting 29mpg! That's fucking amazing. 29mpg mostly city, some hwy, and I've been driving like a fucking ricer just so I know what the worst I can get is. I did it in a piece of crap Camry I had and got 23mpg in that.. but abusing the Integra I get 29mpg? That's fucking awesome! Means I can get upwards of 30 when i'm actually TRYING to be efficient!

Haha. So awesome.

Looks great, good job keeping a DA alive. Why did you have to replace the fenders and hood?

Edit: Shift boot is sick.

The car came with a white set of fenders, and a blue/red hood with holes for hood pins. The car had a white front end because the previous owner drove it into a ditch and totaled it.

If you haven't been threw the whole thread i'll post up some pictures to show you how it all went.

The original damage.

My initial repair to get the fender on correctly.

You can see here the corner light stuck out quite a bit past the body.

Why I eventually got a new hood:

HOOD PINS FAIL! (Especially when you forget to put them in.)
The new hood has a legit hood latch lol.

And the repair that i'm somewhat satisfied with..

The next step is going to be to start shaving the bay, and turbo it. My next paycheck is going towards the Integra to get some much needed parts. One of my CV axles is bad, and I feel like it might snap and kill me if I don't replace it.

I figure since it can't ever look OEM again, it needs to look better then OEM. Hence shaving the bay lol.

I did read it a long while ago, I couldn't remember. I'll have to check the photos at home, they don't all show here. I know how you feel about the cv, I couldn't get mine done for about a month and every left turn was terrifying.

Next paycheck i'm putting the half radiator in with a new CV axle. The radiator has a slight leak so I figure upgrade to the dual core half rad now.
