Prozon's '93 GS Build

You guys know what I find funny? I just read the first few comments on the first page of this build.

Or just get a B1 and boost it :D B20's are mehhh
It's like he predicted the future- or possibly imprinted that idea in my brain.. B18b1 boosted. Hehehe.

Anyways- just figured I would update. The fuel pump's plug is in Federal Way right now. According to every other package i've tracked, it usually arrives to my house the next day after it's in Federal Way- meannnning I could be getting my car done before the weekend! :thumbs up

Panda, I can make 300hp with my setup, i'm however choosing not to. I think 230-250 will be better for my motor. It is afterall, a stock motor. But most of my upgrades will support more horsepower if I choose to run more. 300 is about the breaking limit of the stock rods, I would hate to risk breaking a rod. I think I will be happy with 230hp for a little while. Let's see how long I go before I rip apart my rebuilt bottom end to throw forged pistons in it haha.

Putting the DA in panDA
true true but 230 is a good amount for now .... wish mine put out that much lol

The electrical connector came today. I'm going to install the fuel pump, put all the gaskets on the turbo and HOPEFULLY get the oil pan done. I am waiting on my Dad to pick up a return line for me lol.

Repainted the front to fit the car a little better lol.

Well the fuel tank is on, the Walbro pump is installed.

I also put some RTV on the sending unit- just to be safe haha.

I never got the return line, figures. Tomorrow i'm going to run into the part store and get an oil pan gasket, exhaust gasket and a new valve cover gasket. I'll also have the line made so I can come home and put it together. I'll stop by the exhaust shop on my way back and ask if I can bring the car in on Saturday. (Chances are it will be too late tomorrow by the time I get the line done and everything.)

You should make 230whp on 6psi or so. My b20 made 220/198 on 6 and it was a similar setup to what you have. Anyone wanna go over/under against me on how long before Kris builds a motor cause he's bored with 230-250hp lol

I say under 9 months

I've been thinking about this the whole time guys. I already want to run more boost and I haven't even finished this setup yet lol.

My dillema:
The Integra was meant to be my daily driver- to keep it streetable I was going to run low boost, and try to keep the HP under 250 to try to conserve gas a little bit.

My thought process is that if I build a motor, well i'm going all out.. none of that "Build a motor for 300hp" crap.. if I build a motor i'm building a 600hp motor. (Or more.) So I think what i've come up with is that i'll buy a Civic that I can completely gut, and drop a built motor in. (600hp is my goal for the moment.)

But that won't be for awhile. It wouldn't surprise me if I turn up the boost and end up trying to make 300hp with the stock motor lol.

Oh and Mekenzie, my gas tank was covered in dirt. I took a wire brush and scraped some of it off so you can see the black gas tank under the dirt. I did that around the fuel pump and used a shop vac to avoid getting dirt in the gas tank.

I am planning to go get my line made soon, but my Blazer has a flat tire.. and the Integra obviously is in no shape to drive lol. I'm going to call somebody and see if I can get a ride haha.

Mehhh! I accidentally closed the page when I was typing my update. -_-

SO-
I have my return line now. I just need to get the oil pan done. I will take that care of tomorrow and hopefully take the car to the exhaust shop. I stopped in today to see if he had everything he needed to make my exhaust, but he was out.

My slim fan also arrived today and I have it installed. It's a 9" fan, 1050 CFM. Moves plenty of air, but if I feel it isn't cooling well enough I will upgrade to a bigger one in the future. (Or run dual fans!) The fan is a lot smaller then I had anticipated, well actually I thought my radiator was a lot smaller. I had assumed the 9" would fill it up quite well, but it doesn't at all hahaha.

I'm still debating whether to figure out WHY my OEM fan didn't work- and fix it for this fan, or just run it off a switch. I should probably figure out what needs to be done to hook it up to the OEM wiring. Less chance of me forgetting it and overheating my car lol.

Sandwich plate is installed, feed line is installed. Fuel pump installed. Radiator support modified to fit my half radiator lower. Slim fan installed on the outside of the radiator.

Need to get the oil pan welded, run vacuum lines, and install the injectors.. then off to the exhaust shop.
Heading out to the shop to reinstall the intercooler+piping+all the little things I just mentioned.

(Pictures will not upload right now for some stupid reason- I will upload them later tonight once I figure out the issue with the uploader.)
