Glad to hear you took the MSD off the car. From everything I have seen with them, they are junk on Hondas. V8s are a totally different beast, but for some reason they like to fry Honda coils.

MSD is garbage IMO. why switch from HKS to Tial?Tuner says to get rid of MSD ignition so I swapped it out for my oem stuff from my 2000 Si. Sending up to Innovative Tuning in Buffalo, NY by April. Possibly picking up a meth/water injection kit and am swapping out HKS SSQV fpr a Tial BOV so for sale is a HKS SSQV limited Edt. black for $110..

It's nice to have less things to worry about going wrong though.
Regardless of what I've read about the HKS SSQV not being able to leak under any amount of pressure, Mike at Innovative says when they pressure test them they leak at the first, second or both seals. So I'm swapping for a TIAL considering he has never has problems with them. Kind of sad the whole reason I bought this one was because it wasn't supposed to be able to leak..MSD is garbage IMO. why switch from HKS to Tial?
Anybody want MSD SCI Ignition w/Pro Cap, external coil? Trade for original honda cap/ rotor/coil and cash on top.

I'm thinking about trying to get up enough for methanol injection. I was thinking about getting the basic kit from snow performance but I think I'm going to shoot for the AEM 30-3000 kit. Comes with everything except flow gauge. I really want to make a relatively safe 500whp on the mustang dyno.

I too have debated Meth Injection. My buddy made 427whp on a stock sleeve D series with it and pump gas, I was pretty much sold on it at that point lol. The AEM kit seems to be the nicest out there, you know you can use windshield washer fluid if you run out of the meth mix.

I agree AEM does make a nice kit. Have you heard of Devilsown? It actually comes with a filter in price and controller with indicator lights for $25 less than AEM along with a 250psi adjustable pump. Idk, either AEM or DevilSown. So easy to hook up, one boost line and power and ground.

Dropped a injector ring seal into combustion chamber today so I have to pull the head.

O ring is out and fuel line is set up with a hardline adapter, stainless braided line and jegs 9" fuel filter.
Ordering Cooling Mist water/methanol injection kit sometime soon so I can reach that 500whp mark.. hopefully.

Getting Cooling Mist CMGS Stage 2 water/methanol kit.
Includes -CMGS controller/gauge
-Stainless steel 300psi solenoid
-highest flowing injector
-1 gallon tank and all lines/fittings/filter/check valve
-200-250psi Pump
Seems a little pricey but CMGS controller can gradually release the right amount of methanol as needed instead of just dumping methanol in when boost switch releases at psi setting.
