Thank you. 24psi does wonderful things. Getting a few parts for her today and tomorrow.. ati harmonic balancer, cusco coilovers, and ebc brakes all around. Looking forward to Cooling Mist CMGS2 methanol kit and 29 psi along with a fresh tune and a 300zx tt LSD.
car hobbies are never ending lol. hows the other car doing?

No sir! far from it. I just ahve to replace the bearings in the bottom end of this guy but I don't have anything else to buy for this thing at the moment so the 240 is getting some stuff thrown at it. Besides the 240 already rips pretty hard just a few little things I want. Replaced the god speed coilovers with Cusco and now I just need some rocker arm stoppers, large oil pan, some 272 hks cams and another tune and I am done for a long time. Hopefully hatch is going up on the lift in the next couple of days and my engine builder is coming to look at it and assuming it's his fault (it is) then I will pull the motor and take it to his shop and he will replace the bearings (30 minutes) and then re install motor etc.

That intercooler looks ridiculously oversized haha. The car looks good. Hopefully the bearings didn't do much damage to the rods. I just kind of skipped through to the last page so I don't know the exact situation.

shouldn't be too bad. drove it three hours on highway and another 45 minutes total trying to figured out problem so hoping for the best.
ordered stage 3 cams for my 240! looking at 400whp real soon on lower boost.

So some more bad news..

Well I finally pulled the pan and found the shavings that wouldn't come out when draining the oil. Quite large actually. Rod bearings aren't really bad just a little from the smaller shavings working there way around.
As for the main bearings.. that's whole other story. Got to be some of the worst I've seen. I couldn't get a great shot of the main bearings them selves but by the other pictures shown you will understand. They are so torn up it is digging into the copper. Well I took the motor out and pulled the head then took it to the shop where I had the work done and he isn't going to cover costs and am still awaiting for him to pull the stuff apart again and see what he says. He said he will work something out but I think I will have to buy the bearings and maybe he will do the labor. I got a stock LS longblock (actually from my old automatic integra DC) for a trade of some of my old parts. Cylinder walls still have factory cross hatching so I am going to throw it in on the 300hp tune that's currently in the Neptune and maybe push it a little harder. It's on 14psi with meth and I want it around 18. If i had cash it would already be in and going but I need another head gasket etc.. here's some pictures.

IT LIVES! again..

Yeah I got ahold of a stock LS bottom end and swapped them out. It runs, it drives. A vacuum leak little annoying at idle but it pulls pretty hard for 300whp. Waiting on machine shop to figure out what the f*ck he's going to do. Considering selling everything except for catch can, bov, fuel filter, wastegate and meth.
