doesn't sounds to crazy to me but i would go by miles not time, maybe every 25,000 miles? they aren't that expensive either from what i understand

all depends on your driving style, if you want small gear ratios for good low speed acceleration= B16 trans, for a little better gas mileage on highway cruising at speeds higher than 55, i would say B18C trans and for even bigger gear ratios B18B/A transmission what are your goals?
