i like to use them the same way too. BUT... i get so bored. its hard for me to last more than about 15 mintry the eliptical machine. I usually run on that for about 10 mins before workout, but its good for endurance. You can set the gradient of it too.
i dont think that would work either... i get bored standing in one place. i like running outside the most. problem is, its allergy season, and i have athsma. so running doesnt come easy. guess i just gotta push myself more and moretreadmill at high speed + apple pie?
last summer I was on the treadmill 90% of the time, from a 15min mile to a 6.5 minute mile. Every couple of days I would up the speed and occasionally raise the gradient for added intensity. Just turn it into a challenge? Set a goal for yourself for the end of each week, if you want distance or speed, and work towards that.
It worked for me, but everyone's different.
just do the eliptical to raise your stamina and go to a field or something and just sprint. helped me durring socceranyone know the best ways to improve running ability? other than just running... i really need to up my ability o run distance, and speed. but i was wondering if anyone has and tips to do it really well and really fast?
ill show you what i had to do for conditioning. you will hate life. lol.i guess the stairmaster would be good for endurance too. I fuckn hate stairs though.
