Supercharged or Turbo?

"So while intercoolers work well on higher output superchargers, they are not recommended for lower boost level kits, like an average 6psi street kit. If you're looking for exceptional performance from your engine, consider adding an intercooler to your engine, or consider purchasing a supercharger kit that comes with an intercooler. Most ATI ProCharger systems include intercoolers and still remain very reasonably priced. Paxton has also recently introduced several intercoolers to fit their more popular supercharger systems, while Vortech already includes intercoolers with several kits. Good luck with your intercooling endeavors, wherever they may take you!"
Since you seem to know your stuff on superchargers which of the superchargers you just talked about would you recomend buying. Money isn't a huge issue but im still cheap but i want the best quality and reliability.

Well, now I know why the turbo set up is put on the exhaust.. So glad I read this thread, thanks :thumbs up I thought I've seen turbos on just the intake, but I guess thats some ebay shit or something

yeah those little fake turbochargers are electric and spin at like 4,000 rpm on the intake and turbos are in the like 30,000s or somewhere in there i think(been a long time since i seen the info).

for a daily a bolt on s/c kit might be easier, but you would get better gas mileage and be able to make a lot more power with a turbo.

Any idea what size turbo i should use for my dd. I want to get it up around 350hp, but i dont want to have to deal with huge amounts of turbo lag, which is why im leaning toward a small turbo or a supercharger.

ive always wanted to do a sc on my integra but honestly as of right now dont have the spare money (paying off stupidity from when i turned 18) from what ive read the jackson sc kit is going to be cheap and reliable, but my question is down the line if i want to upgrade what kind of psi would the jackson sc be capable of running without tearing it apart?

and what do you think of the rotex sc? its saying theres no lag on it, its not a roots style sc, but they say its setup to where "The new Rotrex supercharger combines the throttle response of the Roots supercharger with the compressor efficiency of a turbo, but without the lag. And the Rotrex does this without noise, without oil lines connected to the engine, and without the heat common in turbo applications. With boost capabilities of over 20psi we can address any special needs you might have in a custom application."

centrifugal superchargers are useless, very inefficient, and burn oil like crazy. if you go with a supercharger go with theroots type like the normal JRSC.

a .50-.60 AR t3/t4

i have a .50 t3/t4 garret and i plan on making 350 minimum to the wheels

A lot of people opt on getting big ass turbos but if you get a good t3/t4 and maybe upgrade your compressor wheel then you will spool ridiculously fast and not worry about maxing it out.

350hp as a daily is kinda excessive imo, but to each his own, would love to have an integra with more hp then a mustang lol

Thanks for the help man now its just finding all the parts for a nice turbo set up. I was gonna go sc but I want to run more than 8-10psi. And if im gonna get better gas mileage with a turbo, its settled. Any good websites for turbo goodies?
