Damn, it really is only a week away. The 4th snuck up on me, quick. Still have a few things I need to do before the meet. Gotta repaint my front bumper, detail the interior, put a few interior pieces back in the car, etc.

Nothing major, but a bunch of little things that I've been putting off, lol. Now, its time to get to work. Crunch-time!

who's ready for the 2012 updates? Boy, do I have some. I'm not on here much anymore, but I've been busy, lately.

So, here are my current goodies:
ordered these side skirts

as well as these
JDM Window visors

JDP Engineering OE2 front lip

The skirts and lip won't be going on for a few weeks. Going to have some body work done before I install them. Getting the car ready for the ECHM 2012.
The visors, though. Couldn't wait...



Now, I couldn't do all this without doing some work to the motor:
Picked up an OG Skunk2 Intake Manifold (first gen, non stamped. very oem looking)

and the major upgrade for the B18C
JDM ITR cams and valve springs (my B18C is the "jdm gsr" version, so these are a nice upgrade)


Going to CNC Engine Dynamics tomorrow for a baseline pull to see how much power I'm currently making. I'm hoping to be around the 160-165whp range, as is. The motor is very healthy. It has perfect compression on all 4 cylinders (215-218psi average), and it has very low mileage. The motor had less than 23,000 miles on it, and I've only put about 1,500-2,000 since I've swapped it in.

Anyone care to take a guess at what my whp will be? Not trying to get a guess, just want to see who will be closest? Here are the specifics for those that want to take a guess...

OBD1 JDM B18C (Sir-G) with Y80 LSD trans
3" short ram intake
Blox Velocity stack/filter
4-1 Header with 2.5" collector
Vibrant 2.5" high flow cat
Greddy SP2 exhaust

Everything else is stock.

btw, after the head build, the car will be running on an ITR basemap, courtesy of a Hondata s300 EMS, and will be tuned by nationally renowned Chris Miller (one of the absolute best tuners in the country)

btw, I need some adjustable cam gears. Anyone have a set for sale? black or blue, preferred, but I'm negotiable. Let me know what you have, and what you're asking. New or used is fine.

I would guess around 162. I want to say they dynoed a B18C with ITR cams at like 153 in superstreet a few years ago. So I could see those mods giving you 9 or so whp. What do we win if we get it right? Hit up mitch for parts, he sells.

Visited the dyno today.

For a stock JDM B18C (GS-R, NOT Type-R), I pulled a consistent 151whp on all 3 pulls. Chris said the dyno reads about 5hp low, so it is pretty consistent with what he and I were expecting. He feels with the head work I'm going to be doing, that he can get me into the 180s easily, and should even be able to get it into the 190s.

The Type-R cams aren't in yet, and obviously the Skunk2 Intake Manifold isn't on , either. They won't be going in until April. Everything internally, and ECU related is 100% stock. Just all the appropriate bolt ons.

Vid 2, it turns pink. lol.

It was actually red/orange in person. The camera on my phone was doing some weird shit with the colors for some reason. lol.
