what does " tune from speed factory" " dyno tuning " do? does it make your car go faster? or do they tell you wat u need to make it faster

Are you kidding me? When you do any major engine modifications you have to re-tune your ECU.
That was the pricing on the tuning..

And yes Jim, it will be a lot better the second time I do it lol.
Engines about ready to go in now though. Better go finish that. ;)

Nice build man! I wish I could do all that work for a car but don't have anywhere to do it in <~~ (lol.)

Thanks man. It would be absolute hell doing this car without a shop. It's been raining about 98% of the time I've been working on it lol.

Transmission and engine are in. I need to hook up the up the wiring and a few hoses. The axles and front suspension are still unhooked. Will need to get on that tomorrow!

You should buy me a new camera! :D

Could you imagine if I had a new camera and high speed internet? Every post would have like 50 pictures lol.

Your worried about traction, just had your transmission torn apart, and didn't install an LSD? WTF are you thinking lol. I would look into a traction bar, radials or slicks and an LSD, even then with enough power your still gonna have issues hooking, its FWD unfortunately lol.

Kris
Thanks haha.

And Josh, i'm not to the point of traction that i'll run slicks. It's going to be my DD and it will need to handle rain!
I was seriously considering installing an LSD.. but at this point i'm just out of cash. I'm frickin' scrounging up to pay for parts. I wanted to throw a lightweight flywheel on it too, but that didn't happen. -_-

I did the bushings on the front, the sway bar needs to be reinstalled though. Motor is in and hooked up.
HOWEVER..

I tried installing the drivers side axle to find out the seal in the transmission isn't big enough.. the flippin' axle won't slide in far enough for it to work? I might have had the wrong seal in it.

And as i'm typing this I just realized.. maybe I just don't have the seal in far enough.. The axle only had about 1/4 of an inch to go.. Lol.

Kris
Well i'm not even sure if that's what it is. It seems odd that the wrong seal came in my kit. Maybe I don't have it in far enough? Lol. Why do you have to replace yours?

Spitting trans fluid onto my exhaust, makes the car look like its spraying for bugs...I need to replace my rack anyways, so I am just gonna do it all in 1 day. Might do it this weekend, its supposed to be in the 70s here.

Well I bought the new seal. It was just soooo slightly off. The new seal cost me $7 at Napa and they gave me a free hat. Seal went in no problem, cars all together and I took it for a drive.

Shifts soooooooooooooo smooth.
No Leaks.
HAHA.

I do have to take care of the sway bar bushings, but i'll do that another day. Must clean up the shop tomorrow to get room to put the semi in there lol.

Baaaah! I broke my oil fitting for the pressure gauge and now the damn thing is stuck in the block. I can't run the car either cause oil will spray out the back if I do lol.

Pain in the assssssssssssssssseeeehhh!
Also, one of my friends stepped on my fender when it was off the car and fucked it up. Now I may need to get another. -_-
