Good point, I overlooked that most of those threads were started by Skunk2 and k20 is where it's signal (it feels weird I'm calling him this) that is continuing to keep his thread alive. Sorry about that.
When you mentioned prior to the bounty, it's safe to assume that Skunk2 would be ok with sales until signal's information on them was posted. From a legal standpoint though, I really do see Skunk2 winning this one. The loss of any sales/profits/revenue that may have occurred since signal shared his thoughts could have liability placed on him.
I did see the photos of the cams being manufactured but I can't take it into account as being sufficient evidence to use as those pics could be from any factory. None of the photos show that they were taken from inside a Group-A or Skunk2 warehouse/manufacturing/quality control building. They were just taken, so it's easy to say that could be any factory.
Signal needs to videotape that factory inside and out to prove his claim.

They'd have their attorneys send out cease and desists and open ended threats about what they could do if you didn't comply, etc. Nothing will probably come of it, and even if something does happen, it'll be abandoned the moment it seems like one of those two might not just roll over and die. Plus they'd have a hard time playing down the negative atmosphere in the forums if they took a couple of members to court over some internet bullshitting, you know?

Mitch doesn't have to because he has not posted actual parts for sale on the site like all the other "vendors" have. Now, if he did start to post up parts he has for sale, then as per the for sale rules, yes, he would have to become an actual site registered vendor, which is an action I would support. But the fact of the matter is he doesn't have to, so you really should just quit complaining about it. He is a great businessman, honest, helpful, on the ball, And unlike most businesses out there today, not in it to male as much money as he can off of people just trying to pursue their hobbies. I've ordered from him many times and in all honesty you couldn't get better automotive related service at a Lamborghini dealership. So I stand by him.

As a small startup I don't need to have the full vendor setup because my site isn't finished etc. I pay Justin a monthly fee to be allowed to advertise and have that in my signature. That's fine, but please don't act like only people who own their own businesses know anything about how that works. That's ridiculous. Any moron can start a business, (not saying you are one, but we both know that's the case) being successful and truly understanding how business works are not something that many businesses accomplish.

Good stuff with bad quality control from what I have heard... I won't ever buy anything from them that goes in/on the engine from what I have seen across all the forums.

They do their own RnD and designing in house. they then ship it out to china to get mass produced. the question at hand is their actual rnd process. Group A Motorsports is on the bottom of the skunk2 page. it says "2011 © Copyright Group-A Autosports ·" IMHO thats not hiding anything its in plain sight.
edit: this thread is going nowhere. Very few people actually have a grasp of whats going on, people are making shit up and not seeing the obvious.
