Are you running coilovers or just sleeves? Which ones? Is that the max drop? Just curious because i am about to drop mine like that but wasnt sure how far to go.

i am running coilovers. Koni/ground control and no that is not the max drop. It could be lower with smaller tires and also there is an adjustable ring on the strut so you can adjust where the coilover sleeve actually sits on the strut. My ring is on the highest setting so this suspension setup is PERFECT if you are trying to slam a car. Its a smooth ride.........for a slammed ride lol. I recommend fender flaring and rolling tho! LOL only my rear is rolled. Lots of scrapping on the inner fender well. :???:

lol as far as i know it doesnt have a name. this is a maaco paint job and all i know is the code and it consist of green and white pearl. i have yet to take a pic that really defies the color of this car. its beautiful in person! :)

Koni/GC combo are Ground control sleeve coilovers on Koni struts. Opposed to Teins which are full coilovers.

+1

That's a Strut/Sleeve setup.

Full coilovers have a threaded shock body with collars to adjust hieght, and some have a knob to adjust dampening.

A little misleading, as sleeves are also height adjustable with their collars, and some struts do have adjustable dampening (such as Koni yellows)

some full coilovers also have a preload availability which i find very helpful when slammed. something that the gc/koni setup doesnt have. which is why im leaning towards godspeed full coilovers.

Sleeves are to adjust height only, why would I have to state they are to adjust ride height? Some KYB struts have adjustable damening also, but I was refering to full coilovers, with threaded shock bodies.
