7/25/10: I had a few things that needed to be painted such as the windshield cowl, the underside of my hood and hood hinges. The wiper cowl went trim black from a spray can and turned out nice. Ill post pics of the underside of hood later this evening, but heres a few to hold you over for now

8/7/10: One step closer to running!! My buddy finally got my wiring harness finished up for me. I sent it to him a few months back after discovering that I: 1. Suck at electrical lol, 2. Didn't have the time or patience to finish it. I am goin to rest up a bit from canoeing earlier today and let it cool down outside before going and putting it on the car.

Dude I am impressed... You must know a thing or two about cars lol, keep us updated - good paint work too

PS - cute kid, got two nephews 2 and 7months and they are the best thing thats happend to me, spend all the time you can with them now cuz before you know it, they'll be all grown up lol

Thanks man, the camera I have does the color no justice lol. I have a buddy with a much better camera prepared to take pics for me after I paint it.

Haha thanks, the blue crx that can be seen in some of the pics is actually my dad's project car now. It was my gf's but we found that its hard to build 2 cars at 1 time not to mention didn't really wanna put our baby in a CRX. I have a soft spot for CRX's as I have owned 6 lol. I always say this car is my last build, but I said that 40+ cars ago lol

Thanks man. It helps having a beasty mechanic for a father lol. I swear theres nothing that guy cannot do. I grew up around cars, hell I got pics of me at 8 months old in the back of his Dodge Challenger with a roll cage built around my car seat. Guess thats where I got the obsession from.

Yeah kids grow up really fast. My little one is almost 3 months old already, seems like just yesterday we found out we was having a baby. My next project is going to either be a 600cc powered golf cart or a go kart for him lol.

Its alright, wouldn't be the first person to think it was a joke lol. I told several people what I planned on doing to this car the day I got it and just got a bunch of laughs, those laughs are now turning into "omg dude its almost done" lol

lol yeah you got to understand, theres 10 threads a week saying how do i get 300whp NA or something daft like that. I just saw 500whp on pump gas and said wtf and scrolled down and said, alright this man knows whats up

Haha yeah I see those threads daily on different forums. Oh btw can't remember if I posted this on here or not but as it stands the car is set to be fired up and tuned saturday...I am in a race against time to get things wrapped up and come up with the money to buy all the small parts still needed lol.

Alright so I am on a mission to have this thing running and driving by Saturday nights Mopar cruise here in Heath. I have came up with a game plan and hoping to conquer it. Heres what I am thinking:

Tonight:
Install Radiator Hoses: (Done)
Mount Battery Box: (Done)
Run Battery Cables
Wire up Fuel Pumps
Sand Fenders: (Done)
Sand Bumper: (Done)
Wetsand Car: (Done)
Paint Car

Friday:
Install Dash
Install Gauges/Wire them up
Install Door Seals: (Done)
Install Vacuum Lines: (Done)
Install Water Hoses: (Done)
Self Align

Saturday:
Get Tags
Weld Up Exhaust
Start Car Up
Tune
Check All Bolts
Drive
