Thanks man, yeah I finally got the refund 4 months later! My bank took care of that for me lol. I have damn near 20k in reciepts and the only thing that hasn't been done in house (my garage) is the machining and assembly of the bottom end. Doing it your self definitley saves money!! A lot of local people don't believe I have that much in the car, yet they seem to never realize that there is 1k bucks alone just in AN fittings and Hose. That s*** is not cheap at all, then figure in suspension, all the turbo stuff (I will have to go through my reciepts but I would guess 3500 alone there), s*** adds up really damn fast. Hell I think I spent a few hundred at my local honda dealership just on bolts. I'll go through reciepts today since I have nothing else to do and ill see what I come up with.
For a broke kid in the middle of a turbo build that is not comforting :( lol

Haha you can do it for less, I just chose to go the route I did with every part, thus the reason I have so much in the damn thing.

Well Im $3000 into my engine build and I have to get my block and head hot tanked and machined, I have no suspension done, I need paint, and I still need pieces for my turbo set up :( and money for a tune :0 but your car is my inspiration lol

Thanks man, just stick with it. It takes a while before you see results, but in the end its worth it knowing that you didn't cut corners or cheap out. I have said this before in here, but honestly this build and having my son have taught me patience. The old me would be flipping out that my headgasket was messed up, now I just look at it like "eh, shit happens" and "it'll get fixed and run eventually" lol

I think that's a Honda thing. I definitely have a lot more patience after I have done all the stuff to my car. It's pretty frustrating to put one paycheck after another into the car, and then have something go wrong lol.

4/25/11: Due to a Cometic headgasket failing, I was forced to buy a Headgasket today. I went with a Golden Eagle this time around, hopefully it works better then the last hg did. Also my PWM boost controller has arrived!

5/20/11: Seems like forever since I last posted on here. The headgasket has been replaced, turbo's hotside has been ceramic coated, and I have the car all back together. I am going to do some street tuning tonight and tomorrow. The weather here has been terrible (lots of rain), thankfully its cleared up.

Heres a current pic of everything back together

I haven't post here in a while, but nice to see nothing too major went wrong. Its seems with every epic build there is something small that messes up, that's the test I guess for must. To either continue or give up.

i was wondering where you went haha.

lookin good!

on your catch can, do you recirculate it back into your motor or just dump it out every couple months?
I hear a lot of people say recirc'ing is bad and a lot of people say the opposite.

It goes back to the engine, I have the Speed-Theory block fittings. The can is baffeled so all the bad shit should stay in the can and ill just empty it every so often
