i'm doing a 300-400whp build this summer now because N/A sucks and i miss boost. i can boost on the stock b18b bottom end to 300whp all day long... but i'm not going to. i'm going for 9.5:1 on forged internals and stock sleeves. i do things right the first time.

I like reading arguements. Theyre more usually a better read than 'hey build my car'.

Why is anyone getting defensive... lol It didnt look like a jab but what if it was? o.o Time to race....

Nemesis you are slightly an asshole. I never said hey build my car. Im asking for information. To gain knowledge. I'm 17. This is my first car. I need to learn somehow and I really want to. I plan on doing all of this by myself, everyone needs to start somewhere.

Hes not being an asshole. You are misunderstanding what he said, making you the asshole. He was simply saying that the thread was more informational than a "hey i want a turbo what do i need" thread aka build my car. As stated before, this thread is very beneficial to you, you may just not appreciate the information given here.

Slightly? How dare you undersell me. Im a bigger asshole than you know but not in this instance cuz i was referring to all the threads ive seen. Ill go as far as saying yours is a bit different but still falls into that category. You asked slightly more specific questions then the usual guy who asks 'what should i get for my car?'. Its ok i still like you. Theres tons to read and check out some of the build threads. Theres a few turbo builds around. We're all assholes in my book. ^^

Ok ok ok. Well obviously I read all the information you guys were arguing about and half understood it all. I must have got misunderstood because it was off topic to what I want to know. At first I wanted to know if raising my compression to get the benifits of the ITR cams be worth it (taking into account that I want to do a turbo build, I then said I don't feel like I should because iv heard the stock gsr compression 10:1 is tough to turbo and won't be able to get more then 300-400hp) I researched and understand the high compression being more difficult to handle boost. But too be honest I don't have the money to do a low compression build AND turbo. So I know of one person IRL and iv read about many peoples imaginary 10 sec forum cars and people say that 10:1 compression is definatly able to be turbo

um yeah.... 10:1 compression is find. it has been stated numerous times in this thread. And what 10 sec cars do you know of on the forums that are turbo running 10:1 cr?
