Yeah... It'll be a b**** to clean all the rubber off the back of the bike... Lol

I really need to go to bed. That under tail exhaust though!

The reason I like the 06-07 1000rr over all the others. I had to have an undertail exhaust. Love it!!!

What ever happened with the guy that was gonna buy the KTM?
I held it all week for the guy and when friday came around he said he didn't have time to look at it. Than a week later he called again wondering if i'd take 1500 I said no

Also the bike has a lowering link on it, Once I get the new chain i'm setting the stretch at 6 or 7 inches so I can extend it more as the chain wears but It also has a lowering link that can go pretty low. After I clean up the back a bit i'm going to slam the back on this bitch lol. Should drop a couple inches. I just wanna see what it'll look like

I've never used plastidip purely for the fact I feel like it'd be hard to remove, I have to say, It's extremely hard to remove and I need help!!! Lol. Look at all these pics of plastidip on this bike...

Here's the front forks first, Both sides have plastidip overspray on them, I cleaned the upper left a bit...

Left rear foot peg

Gear shifter

Left passenger foot peg

Right passenger foot peg, Brake resovoir is covered in plastidip to -.-

Passenger footpeg, The part circled, The metal piece is suppose to extend behind the plastic piece where a bolt goes. The metal piece is broke off so there's no way to bolt the plastic on, Also notice the brake pedal is gone.

Here's all the rubber underneath the back...

Anyone know how to remove all this plastidip??? Lol

Holy shit...

Uhh, Well...

Good of time as any to tear it down :rolf:

Yeeeeeeeaahhhh... Best and easiest thing to do would be to take all that shit off, Swingarm and all and just rub it down with either heavy duty goo gone or laquer thinner, Otherwise you're in for absolute hell lol

Ordered a new gel battery, EBC HH front brake pads, and a clutch master cylinder/reservoir. I have $2232 invested now. Only things I need now (That I found/see) is sprocket/chain kit, rear brake pedal, right side foot peg bracket, oil/filter, clutch fluid for when I swap the reservoir and stuff. That's all I think of now. After all that I hopefully have under $2500 in the bike... but probably won't lol

I just need to find a way to remove plastidip easly... Than the bike will look alot better lol
Remove the pegs, Swingarm and other affected parts, Soak rag in laquer thinner and rub it off, It's that easy lol, You gotta get to that rear shock anyway or all the rubber stuck on it will destroy the seal on the shock.

Sand it all off then polish the parts :D

I got my tidy tail bracket in today. I have another package as well, but I have to pick that one up. Not sure if it's the oil screen, gasket and miscellaneous bolts or the bike cover I picked up for a penny (literally a penny).

I will kill him if he polishes a single thing on that bike

Stretched and lowered is one thing (I know he's a short mother fucker  ) but Stretched, Lowered AND polished?...

Let's just say there would be an unfortunate accident and I will have "picked up" a new track bike

Lol not going for a polished look on my cbr, It will be closer to a blacked out, Not the plastidip blackout like it has though. What is suppose to be aluminum will go back to aluminum, I've cleaned alittle plastidip off the swingarm, Cleaned up the front left fork more so it looks rather decent now, and got the dip off a aluminum piece on the left side. I don't have enough laquer thinner left to soak parts in I just been rubbing laquer thinner on the stuff and rubbing it off. Takes along time though if I could soak the parts I think it'd come right off after a few minutes of soaking. Going to buy another can of laquer thinner tomorrow lol

Found out the wheels are actually a candy red color and not maroon, That's just how dirty they were. I kind've dig the color of the wheels now lol

No plastidip on the little guard now and less on the swingarm

All around a bit cleaner everywhere, I'll buy a can of laquer thinner and start pulling off all the small parts and start soaking them. I got to get all the dip off the swingarm extensions to. Also the right front fork.. Whenever I'm able to pull the bike outside i'm going to give it a better wash all around cause i'll have access to a water hose lol
