If I get one it will either be the 999 or the 899 panigale, Both are impractical is f*** :lol:

I've heard a lot of negative things about the 1199, Suspension gives very little feedback, Jerky throttle etc, The people with opinions I trust who rode them say they're for going to starbucks and parking outside for free coffee and a blowjob... From a bunch of dudes :rolf:

The 999 though... Rode one :drool: The sound, The torque, Sex, Sweaty, Heart pumping, Dirty, Ball aching sex! :lol:

So my chain took a shit on me >.< . I tightened it (bought it loose) and all of a sudden there was a huge knock during every rotation. Not to mention I just found out my battery is bad :(.

You know the chain can be too tight, Right?

You want at least a full inch of up and down play in it.

Glad you didn't wreck! Chains can catch in the sprocket when they break and lock your wheel up.

Hahahaa NO! I bought it with about 2 inches of slack. But didn't have the right f***ing wrench to adjust it lol. Bought the right tool and decided to get the slack out before th big ride yesterday morning (tightened it to 1 inch of slack thank you very much :p ). Well yup then the knob showed up haha. I know there's a spot or two on the chain where it's pinched and wont freely rotate so I'm guessing that's where it's coming from.

Anywho, going with a 520 chain, but should I pay $165 for stock sprockets or get a SpeedoDRD and go -1 +2 for $230? I'm torn because I don't want to mess my bike up (including the mileage) and It's $65 bucks more..

Is it worth it?

So I guess one of the local dudes sold his Ruck yesterday, then not even 3 hours later the guy that bought it sent him pics of the wrecked bike.

Someone said the same shit earlier :lol: The guy that wrecked it probably tried to lean it too far with the fatty wheel then tried to recover once he heard the wheel scraping.

I feel bad for the guy that sold it though, it was pretty nice. Matched his 10sec CRX.


As for the scraping part, for as low as they sit, they're surprisingly rigid. One of the people with a 250 swap is pike 6'5 probably about 280 and there's no flex with his dual shock setup.


Oh, and the scooter jokes stopped bugging me a long time ago :lol: Everywhere I go I get compliments on the clone. And at bike night, the "buy a real bike" Harley guys will spend close to an hour talking to all of us about what they are, what we've done to them, how fast, etc...
