box is about 75% complete. i still need to cut the side panels and put those and the top on; but its pretty good other than that. the front plate needs to be sanded down and trimmed some, right now its about 1/8" too high so i have a tiny gap. i will probably get it sanded down today and maybe done. i need to get my terminals for the box, and since my subs take 8gauge speaker wire, its hard to find some that are heavy duty enough to work.

^^absolutely I'm with you on that. I meant from the amp output to the sub input (signal wires). The monster cable I'm using was very hard to strip and get access to. hey, can you hook me up with some Kicker wiring?

box is done. just needs carpet and to be wired. freaking sweet! i took the belt sander to it and got all the edges perfect. the terminals were ordered and should be here soon. im getting the carpet tomorrow.
finished building the box today. still need to carpet it and wire it. i belt sanded the edges and its pretty good. its caulked and ready for subs.

price more than anything else. the 9515s only do about 10in3 more volume displacement than the 8515s and for the extra money it wasnt worth it. and the 9515s require a lot more power which meant getting a bigger more expensive amp. it just wasnt enough of a difference in db's to offset the price. and remember, its in a hatchback integra! i probably wont be able to turn it past 1/2 way as is.

today i painted the ports and carpeted the box except for the sides (ran out of material).
