i guess im going to order my sound deadening tomorrow and hopefully do that this weekend. also going to order my carpet. got some black carpet :)

i was going to do a car audio thread on my new car but after this it wont really be much comparison. maybe after everybody forgets and this is on the 2nd or 3rd pg haha

worked on the rear seat delete today. its about 80% done. still need to staple the carpet down and screw the boards together. should be done by end of the week.

board got carpeted today, drilled holes for bottle brackets, ran nitrous lines, and cut carpet for power and ground wires. should be done very soon

today i got the amps in and wired. my front right speaker isnt working though and my i think something may be wrong with my 1501d (big amp for subs). i put my old 12s in just to test everything and they are barely moving. mtx includes a birthsheet with every amp meaning they are tested before packaging and all my numbers are awesome. it was dark and hard to see, so i just quit for the night. tomorrow will be lots of troubleshooting i guess. i probably just connected a wire wrong (again it was pretty dark). got the nitrous bottle brackets in and the bottle connected as well. its going to suck if i have to pull all that stuff back out to look under the boards. im hoping it will be easier in the daylight.

well it stopped and i got about an hour of work done. the problem was faulty rca's, so i swapped them and its back to pounding. the 15s are in the car now (had to remove the front seat to put them in) and everything is done except for mounting the amps and vacuuming the back. oh and carpeting the support board and sides of the box.

subs have about a 50hrs breakin, so i cant let em loose for a while. the last thing i want is to ruin the voice coils! i need a lot of power to keep them happy as well. i need to hurry and drop the motor in so i can use the 165 amp alternator i got.

been waking up the neighborhood on this saturday morning. friend of mine lives two blocks away and called me "hey man, did you put your system in? shit in my house is straight up shaking off the wall. turn it down". so that was kinda cool, but they really arent as loud as i want them... hopefully once they are broke in it will be a decent bit louder. my goal is to have them louder than i can listen to it!
