well all you can really do is find the same person and go for another round. but i bet right now he's bragging to his buddy that he beat an eclipse in 1st and 2nd gear.
Hell for all he knows it was a STOCK gs spyder. So if he brags about that its sad. Really their is no way to see im a GST. So for all he knows he just beat a 17 second convertable. Not bragable. I wanna find him again. He had a GF in the car too . Damn. If I find him again ill get a race that actually covers a distance. and try to bet $ on it. Now that he is on his high horse.

Really im practically a stock GST now. Their not too fast stock. Lemme put it into a perspective... My exhaust is the same diameter piping as a Integra. I have a 10 year old cat on the car. I have a boost leak at my injectors. So even with the larger turbo and intake. Its trying to cram it out through a straw exhaust and the boost its making isnt doing its full effect due to a leak.

But on that short of a distance that we ran, even if my car was top notch and full 3in turbo-back. I would still loose, actually id loose worse. My tires would break loose faster, and id loose some of my second gear to spin. Thats why I hate FWD.

Ive had this thing uncorked (straight turbo) at 17psi. Still with my boost leak (plus another older one ive fixed since then). and WOHA SHIT. 1st and 2nd were toast. But from a roll, this thing halled balls! Really this is a highway roll car, not ment to be launched. And thats not what I want. I want a quick launchable car. So thats why I want AWD or RWD.

Im in a band DO ME!!!!!
I dont know why people have a problem with FWD....there are just as many fast FWD cars and RWD and AWD....it's all about the driver, really, if you suck as a driver...you're just gonna spin. You gotta know your launch points, shift points, etc etc....The only complaint I have about FWD is the Torque steer....thats it....

LOL, how can you join Club Integra....but not like FWD or even want a integra.....Thats like having a V8, but wanting to make it a V6 or V8, LOL.....

used to own an Integra. That why I joined. Oh, and ask anyone about FWD sports cars. The FWD design is just about the WORST design for a sports car. The design is the worst when it comes to handling.

Oh and you didnt read my posts. My wheel spin had NOTHING to do with me. My launch was perfect (no spin at all, not even a chirp). So if anything I went easy on the launch. I lost traction due to boost (tires clearly lit up at 3500rpms after full boost). To much power/torque for a FWD car to handle with no LSD/Slicks. Shift points are kinda hard to fuck up. unless you miss them really. That wanst an issue for me either. It was 100% clearly FWD traction loss in first gear.

Shure their are fast FWD cars. Also notice they have LSD's and Slicks. You cant honestly tell me you would prefer a FWD over any other layout. Mean it is THE WORST. RWD, MR, AWD, RR, all better. Really their just the facts, im not bashing on the teg at all I love Integra's. But FWD is a economy car drivetrain and only a cripple to sports cars.

Id rather have looks over performence. Integra's look good, and really handling isn't that bad, I mean you only gotta worry bout that if you road race....I mean on a highway you just need to go straight and make a turn every now and then.

Yea, dont get me wrong I LOVE INTEGRA's. They are some of the best looking cars imo. And for FWD they handle amazingly (I auto-x'ed mine and it held its own well, even beating RWD and AWD people). But for putting down lots of power their tough to get traction.

Thats why for my next car I dont want a FWD car. Id like to experience a car that can rocket from zero without having to worry about just spinning. And whats perfect for that? AWD. I hate trying to pull out in traffic in my car and knowing (If I pull out while tring to turn the wheel, I cant give it much power or ill just spin and they will catchup to me/hit me). Not to mention AWD handling is basically like a FWD car, but when you need the oversteer it can be power induced (unlike FWD) or just a quick jerk into the corner. So ill be familiar with the handling.

Me im a preformance guy. Mainly corners, I have more fun going into a turn at a speed that seems like itll never do it. Then it just throws you out of the seat and grabs the road. That makes me smile more than riding in a fast ass straight line car. Or just having a good looking car. But I try to experience all the angles.

And I REALLY hate loosing because my car cant handle the power without alot of work. Why make it faster?? It cant handle it already :( . I could live with it if it was my fault, because that I can change. I cant fix FWD for the $ I have.

i got your back speedin basically because he his eclipse was starting to spool up, you have to to factor the conditions wet pavement regardless or not you can get traction loss same happens on dry pavement my friend all he clearly is stating is he lost grip at a 3500+ rpms ahs nothing really to do with his driving, some the best drivers that are pushing 30 psi and have the whole shebang wuill also have traction loss
