Does anyone know what that is?

Or why its on this?

Here is a little explaination

Mitsubishi is experimenting with motors in the wheels.

-1 for city MPG acting like hybrid motors.
-2 their making them powerful enough to rocket the car off the line. Because an electric motor can deliver 100% of its torque instantly! Now id like to see this AWD launch

does anyone have a problem with trunk noise?
Ah yes, the hatch squeak! A quick fix (worked for me). is unscrew the plastic bumpers on the hatch. Not all the way, just enough to they sit out ferther. Your trunk will take effort to close, but have less squeaky

its snowing right now (finally) so i cant really get out there. put up a pic nucker on what piece you adjusted so i can get to it early tomorrow morning.

so technically it'll still squeak. as there anything to do to make it NOT squeak at all.

Id post a pic, but I dont own a Integra anymore :p. The only 2 screw in rubber bumpers. Ther ON the hatch and at the 2 outer rear corners of the hatch (opening piece). To eliminate te squeak..... take off your lowered suspension, strut bars, sway bars, or basically anything that adds vibration to the chassis. Ive heard lubing the hook/leaver in the trunk can help a little. Also their is this piece of rubber the Type-R got in its rear hatch leaver. That will reduce alot of noise. But good luck getting that part.
