Got it working,

If you don't have the button relay for the dimmer switched plugged in the gauge lights won't come on. The same thing for the hazard and the turn signals.

Speedo cable is great, no more noises when driving. Car feels newer now LoL. I'll grab a pic tonight of the lights.

R13

The other asshole
Its red, I just did the same thing

this is what it looks like with my phone

And with some editing this is pretty much what it really looks like.

It's a little more red and doesn't have bright spots in real life tho.

Well, I was tinkering around in the engine bay and messed with a few things,

Changed out this old ground wire that was running to the valve cover with some new stuff I had on hand,

Here is the old stuff,

Then the new wires I put in,

Looks better than it did. Adds a little bit of color too.

Been considering this next tweak for a while and I finally did it, Since I have a 90 model my intake manifold has a "Air Boost Valve" It's the valve with the two hoses on the right. This is there to help cold starts I believe.

After researching this for a while I found out that this stayed on all automatic transmission models all the way to 93, but the 92/93 manual trans models do not have it. So I went ahead and did my own delete. Just blocked the hole with a bolt and washer with a little teflon and RTV to seal. Looks a lot cleaner.

Maybe down the road I'll just pick up a 92/93 intake manifold but this will do on a lazy Monday evening :)

Looking really good. When are you going to paint that valve cover?
Got some ideas for it like cutting out the access to the cam gears. I'd really like to be able to service my timing belt without having to pull off the whole valve cover.

Think I'm going to pick up another one from the junk yard on Thursday.

Got some new stuff for the Teg, Took today and tried to get a lot done but found an unwanted surprise towards the end of the day!

Picked up this awesome strut bar for $30 bucks! Couldn't believe it!

Skunk2!

Also grabbed a rear wiper delete plug from the firewall of a DC Integra at the junk yard

Also picked up a steering wheel from a 92-93, It's a long story about the history on this wheel, short version is a Teg I used to own was at the scrap yard and all that was left was the wheel, so I snagged it for memories.

I like the look over the 90-91 wheel and this one is special to me. At any rate, I started early this morning on everything and found this little guy hanging out on my tire LoL

Not sure what kind of Spider but I left him alone and got started on my Rear Wiper Delete,

Here is the underside with the wiper motor

Everything Out!

Done

From there I moved on to getting these guys to work, Some yellow fog capsules also from the junk yard

Cut them out of the bracket because it wouldn't fit in my fog light

Then I just set them in the fog and put the original bracket back in and it holds pretty well!

From there I went on to finally prepping my valve cover, Mid stage and final product

Well this was working I installed my Blox cam plug. Here is a shot with everything off. You can also see the strut bar is in, That sucker was a TIGHT fit. I had to get rid of my dashpot and trim down the throttle body where the dashpot valve bolted too. But the thing is solid, not like the ebay ones I've used in the past.

So here is the bad news, I took a look at my timing belt and it's in pretty bad shape. Lots of cracking, I couldn't believe it. I guess I'm glad I caught it like this instead of it just breaking on me. Tried to get a picture of the small stress cracks.

So now I am pricing parts on a full timing belt swap, Belt, Water pump, Pulley, Spring, Seals. Might as well do it right. So far the Gates belt kit seems to be relatively good, Anyone heard anything about it?? I'd like to go OEM Honda parts but I heard Gates belts are the same thing.

Got some parts in the other day, I was in the process of breaking everything down but hit a road block at the crank pulley, So I got some more tools coming to help me deal with that guy.

OEM All the way for this stuff though.

Went with red for the valve cover, It's actually done already but I'll post the pics of it when my car is back together
