its the best wheel cleaner ive used. But its only the 2nd one ive used also. The interior spray once dry leaves a 'tacky feel' especially on the steering wheel and parts you dont use the leather conditioner on. His (larry Kosilla - the owner) explanation of this is you're removing all the...

    Car Care/Detailing Thread

My driving instructor/race engineer and my good friend applying decals to the car before Super Lap Battle. We used Meguiars spray detailer and the car was washed using waterless wash before driving down to buttonwillow. Right off the trailer. Waterless wash. Might have done a session or two...

the interior stuff is really good. Pulls out crap really nicely. The wheel cleaner is also really really good. Pulls out all the shit i have on it from track days. However, the wheels still look dirty after cleaning because I wasnt really good with cleaning the wheels for the entirety of my...

I use Meguiars waterless wash, quick detail, clay and carnuba wax. Sometimes if i feel like doing a full water wash ill do that but i have to be extra careful around the area windows are supposed to go. my dd gets washed once a year or something. I use turtle wax ice and Ammo NYC products on...

    Samurai Blue's Integra Build

NT01s. Theres a lot of things that go into grip of a tire that ive gathered over the last few years while working at a race shop. 1. heat cycles effect the grip. Tires can only go from hot to cold so many times, and max temp also affects this. 2. storage of the tire - tires typically...

    Car shuts off while driving

yeah. Its most likely the entire distributor if the car turns back on when it cools down. I think it might be the ignitor but i forget. If its going out i would replce, it anyways.

just dremel it. Its only the opening. Hole saw will even do it. Yeah the race shocks are pretty expensive but theyre one of the best shocks on the market. With a good driver my car was doing stupid fast times at buttonwillow with the race shocks.

    Aiming for 13.99 1/4

transmission will help a bunch. 2.5" header open with stage 1 cams tuned for max power will get you to your goal.

didnt go with koni race shocks? I would do ITBs with a plenum. Or ITBs with a hood pop in the back. that 74mm tb wont do anything if your manifold is stock port.

    Car shuts off while driving

misfire codes are tricky. I would fix all of the following if you havent: spark plugs spark plug wires cap rotor ignitor (if you did cap, rotor and ignitor already change the entire dizzy) valve adjustment

    Dead Cylinder

yeah but since he didnt mention over revving and its a stock motor you would have to do something real bad like snap a timing belt or something.

its most likely your rings. If you went from 0-30psi the oil is sealing something kind of large.

I felt safe enough with the roll bar actually. I was really noncommittal on making this a full blown race car or making it a half assed race car. Im actually happier i have the 5lb bottle of halon next to me lol. You really need to figure out how to get on the HPD team for the 25 hours of...

Installing Golden Eagle Intake Manifold. Could use some advise...

It was more than likely made for cars without those things. EG race applications. I honestly would delete the FITV (unless you live in a cold climate and drive this in the snow). Ive had zero issue with not having a FITV on an OBD1 car in cold conditions (30 F). MOST aftermarket parts are made...
