    running the engine hot can cause major problems. you could burn up your head gasket, warp the head or block. i think you can damage your piston rings too. so start by checking your coolant level. if its good then change your thermostat. its possible that its staying closed or just not opening...

    what is your coolant gauge reading? have you checked your coolant level? any leakes? could be your thermostat, radiator. maybe your cooling system needs to be flushed.

    this is really personal preference. the difference is not that great. either way your going to get better air flow over the stock intake.

    first off your thread tittle is uhm undiscriptive so as your first post. there is more infoe we need. I.E. header type engine type etc. " down pipe is hitting oil pan" is not enough information for us to help you

    the difference in the exhaust from the 90-91 and 92-93 is the midpipe. the header should be the same. this is easily solved with a trip to an exhaust shop. when buying from ebay they usually say 90-93 but they are only distributors they dont know the difference. my 2 cents

    have you checked the big fuse? its at the same place the others are but its a lot bigger and youll need a phillips screwdriver to remove it. it might still have the grey cover over it, but its either green or red. its like a 40 or 50amp

    Cooling / Overheating at idle only

    its the thermostat. at idle your water pump is still flowing but your not getting any air thru the radiator. thats why whe you start to move it cools down and when your stopped it goes up. been thru this 2 times. cheap easy way to start finding a more major problem anyway.

    i already stated that you need to remove the column. atleast release it from the dash. but if you dont remove it you could break the wiper/light stalk cause its gonna be in the way. why? just buy the tranny mount made for it by innovative mounts...

    abs wont be a problem. the conversion has been covered many times. i was doing this on my project teg but in the end i ended up finding a DB2 (gsr) and got rid of the project. as long as you have a donor car your good to go. the only custom work is a 1 3/4" hole to drill and youll need a costom...

    you get what you pay for. 6hr aint gonna get you much. not talkin shit but just being realistic. there isnt much for lips but i personally like the chargespeed lip. or the US Racing lip. but expect to pay 300+ each. just wait and buy a quality lip. not fiberglass
