Negative ghost rider....When you are driving down the highway at 70mph, what is that tach at? if its around 3-3500 rpm, you have an LS trans if you are at like 4K or above I would say GSR (possibly b16) or ITR (highly unlikely)

Does the engine turn over when you try and start it? Whats the engine compression? I second the ground/battery test to rule out the battery and charging system.
