Dont know if this is the right place for my post but i just wanted to know how can I make my DA lighter without wasting a lot of money on CF hood or Rear Hatch?
Interestingly, one of my neighbors down the street has a white 240sx. Coming down the street tonight after work, I thought the rear window of his car frosted over, it seemed kinda colder than usual. Getting closer, he was doing the 240 pickup conversion.Cut top off car, legit jdm convertible
Yeah I just built the stock motor. Nd I built it high compression so no turbo!Help for what? Like Tyler mentioned, unless you're aiming for those decimal points in the MPG's or are building a track queen, well it's obviously going to be useless to shed all those miniscule pounds.
All those guys that gut their cars, ARE FOOLS. I ran gutted for awhile while waiting for my sound insulation on order.. I hated it and I gained no performance at all. No, you won't be noticeably faster. It is such an insignificant gain it's not even worth it in my opinion. No amount of weight shaving will make an Integra fast, so just build the motor and turbo it and get it over with.
I think the number I read was that for every 100 pounds you shed, you gain like a tenth of a second in the quarter mile. That's not even worth it to me, I'd rather keep my air conditioning, sound deadening, power steering and random interior parts. My turbo can make up plenty for any weight in my car.
No no no, you don't need to explain- I can understand that you want to shave weight. I bet the motor being N/A probably bogs trying to move the stock weight of the car.. but gutting your interior just won't help it.
Okayy but How many lbs of boost are you going to be able to put on that? Like less than 10?Depends what you consider high compression.. I'm boosting 10:1 in 2012.. I'm sure others have gone higher. It's all about having a good tune!
My bad about the dumb question but what is the turbo trim? It's all about the tune and the turbo trim
PSI means nothing without the size of the turbo being known.Okayy but How many lbs of boost are you going to be able to put on that? Like less than 10?
