I wouldn't. The spare tire area is like the only place we have to put anything in the trunk without it rolling all over th damn place, lol. There was a rear brace I was thinking about buying just because it has little spots to hold shit

If you're worried about weight that just means you need more power! Honda's are light from the get go, the interior parts weigh next to nothing. The heaviest part you can take off would be the air conditioning unit if you have one.
