Here are the pictures.

Got my oil pan drilled, will weld the fitting in tomorrow. Maybe tonight if I stop being lazy. Cleaning up my IC pipes. Filing one a little bit right now. The car's going to be completely done tonight, minus the oil pan of course..

Finished up the intercooler pipe. Got most of the pipes clamped down. Installed the BOV+Gasket. Installed the oil feed and return line fittings. Sealed everything up.

I need to find a new bolt to hold my intercooler on. I lost it somewhere along the line. All i'm missing is my exhaust manifold gasket and the gaskets for the wastegate which should be here tomorrow @ 9am.

Well it's all installed with the exception of the oil pan. (I'm cleaning it now before I install it.)

I have some.. questionable vacuum lines.. I may have to redo the setup because it looks like trash and i'm sure it will cause me problems.

My dog came to visit me at one point. It was kind of surprising, I never see the little guy venture this far away from the house. Then I realized he was only visiting me because it was raining and I had forgot to let him back in the house. Haha.

I have a slight clearance issue with my blow off valve. I had not actually intended the BOV to be where it is, but my Dad took the pipe to someone to have it welded, and I was unaware he took the BOV flange with him. The location he picked didn't work out, so I was trying to modify things and move them around to get the pipe sitting lower. After installing everything I just noticed that the bolt on the top of the BOV hits the hood.

And I just thought of a solution as I was typing that. I could trim half that little bolt off. I'm a genius.

My engine bay is pretty sad looking, and one of my vacuum lines is actually some old air hose I had. I ran out of vacuum hose while doing this so I worked with what I had. If it wasn't red I would be happy with it lol.

So tomorrow i'm towing the car into the exhaust shop and having the exhaust built. I would drive it in, but I feel like I would probably get pulled over for the ridiculously loud exhaust lol.

So I have everything installed now. I welded up the oil pan and put it on. I ran into a little snag while installing the 440 RC injectors. Apparently the bottom of the injectors are a bit bigger. I had to remove the seals from the intake and shove some O-Rings in to replace them. Luckily I have a big kit of different size o-rings. They're not leaking, so I am happy.

It took me quite awhile to get the idle right. I kept switching around vacuum hoses, and although it is a mess right now.. I think it's working out. I will take it for it's first run down the road tomorrow. If all works out, I will clean up the lines.

It's going to the exhaust shop assuming all is well.

So I figured I would re-use the coolant that came out of the car. It had been sitting in a 5 gallon bucket for a few days so I figured I would filter it to make sure nothing bad goes back in my motor. Turns out there was a lot of crap in it. I used a gallon jug, a funnel and a facemask to filter it.

That is what we call "high tech." ;)

And here is why I am so glad I filtered it.

Well i'm off to bed. It's 4:40 already. Assuming I get the car to the exhaust shop today and it's running right- I might make a video.

Having issues getting it to idle right. Going to try to find a vacuum manifold on Craigslist.

Exhaust shop is closed today. Taking it in tomorrow at 8am.

Bumpers? We don't need no stinkin' bumpers...

The fire ring on my wastegate apparently fell out at some point during mock up. This would explain why I can't build boost. Getting the exhaust done today so hopefully the exhaust shop will have some kind of seal to fit it. Hoping! If I can get it to build boost I can make this damn thing run correctly. I am fairly certain I have flooded the engine and fouled the plugs.

440rc's with 255 injectors with no boost. Lets assume it's flooded. :p

Off to the exhaust shop.
Will hopefully make some more updates by the end of today regarding the exhaust.

3" exhaust all through. Flowmaster muffler. A glasspack down the middle to HOPEFULLY quiet it down. The downpipe is only like 2.5" or something because it can't fit real well. Which works out, I don't need the 3" DP.

Ehhh.. hopefully it comes out good. I'm somewhat paranoid lol.
I can't stand having someone else work on my car.

I totally get the feeling. Unless it's a buddy, then I'm cool, cause sometimes I'm lazy, haha.
As for the exhaust, I like usually like the sound of custom exhausts better, and they last longer in my experiences. Why the flowmaster over anything else really, you could put whatever you'd like up there.

Why the flowmaster you ask? Mainly because it's the only brand of muffler the shop stocks in 3" hahaha. :thumbs up

I'm hoping that the guy calls me up before he finishes the exhaust. I want to mention to him to put a longer glass pack in. I heard a youtube video of a 3" exhaust with a 28" resonator.

Call his ass first haha. And fair enough on the brand choice, I just always thought they were cheapies.

Flowmaster is actually a really decent brand. And seeing as how I really have no say in the matter, i'll go with it! Haha.

Ya I have a flowmaster muffler and I like it! Sorta loud but oh well I'm cool with it for now. I have 2 1/2 in piping throughout with no glasspack in it, that should quiet it down a bit for you though
