Sorry for the delay. Was a busy night last night with the kids. Pic of the motor in the bay, as promised....

valve cover is temporary. the one that's on there now came on the swap. this valve cover is the one that will be going on there:

Thanks, Ricky (8urcivic) for the valve cover. Absolutely top tier work. No doubt about it.

Just need to get a new gasket set for it. So, I will have to rock the black cover (that's got several imperfections and just ISN'T up to par with the rest, lol) until payday when I can get a new valve cover gasket set. Also, I'll be replacing the distributor cap for a new one. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with this one, but its just not very good looking. Looks like there were tools dropped on it or something, as there are scratches and gouges in it

I have yet to fire the motor up yet, though. Still a few things to do before I fire it up. But for the most part, the B18C is in it's new home.

Comments, as always, are welcome.

Almost forgot. My favorite picture from the whole process:

My oldest daughter, Alessa (4 years old), "helping" Daddy with his clutch cable.
"I didn't know you needed a wrench to work on a clutch cable."
"Duh, Daddy. I can do it for you."
*tear runs down cheek*

What you don't see is my youngest daughter, Layla (just turned a year old :) ) underneath the car bolting up the shift linkage, and making short work of the "bitch pin".

lol
