Weather has sucked pretty bad here as of late. Very cold weekends, coupled with alcohol, make me not want to go outside at all. Havent been able to do anything with the car, but I managed to drop the car off to get an alignment the other day. Im scanning the print out right now and boy was my front toe way off.

I also hit a pretty big dip in the road the other week, followed by some metallic clanging a bit down the road. Turns out it was one of the bolts that hold the two header pieces together. I'll have to hit up home depot for a couple new ones and get under there this weekend.

Also selling my Hondata S200 if any one is interested :) Pretty sure its the basic model, no boost feature. It also does not come with the 4 pin cable that attaches it to the ECU. That is about $15 from a hondata dealer. Trying to get $125 for it.

My exhaust is beginning to get pretty loud now. I believe the packing inside the twin loop is falling apart, whether it be from heat or running slightly rich.

Because of that, my next mod is going to be acquiring the parts to replace my custom test-pipe with a high flow cat. Im not sure how long it will be until I get it all and install it. My plan is still to buy a house, so I need to divert as much of my paycheck towards that as I can and would like to do the install myself, as having the person I used for welding before was not cheap.

Game plan is to get parts needed (2 flanges, high flow cat) and buy a house. Then get a Mig welder and practice on scrap, before doing it myself. :) Certainly a long ways out. Will have other updates this weekend, granted the weather cooperates.

get yourself a resonator test pipe, i have 2 resonators on an oem replacement ITR muffler and it should be stripped out but its not surprisingly

I dont understand what you mean by "stripped out"?

I do have a resonator currently, but I would like to tone it down significantly more than one additional resonator would provide.

You might as well get a straight-through muffler since you have two resonators.

Two resonators makes you twice as JDM as everyone on the internet.
lol.

I took my test pipe off to get measurements off of it. I will probably snap a picture of it tomorrow, as I intend to take the truck to work and clean off the rust/paint it before putting it back on. Im fairly certain the reason the exhaust is getting loud is because of the packing inside the muffler is going, as I mentioned before, probably due to a rich condition (though it may just be because the muffler is "N" years old). Maybe at some point I will cut it open and pull the old stuff out, and repack it, then get it professionally welded back together. Someday...

it depends on the set up, a header, test pipe, straight pipe to greddy sp2 was pretty loud and smelled like shit, i suggest a high flow cat and that will quiet it down with the try Y

really that made no sense and wasn't funny, stock piping comes with a resonator and my test pipe is a resonator

Heres the definition of a resonator, hope its not too complicated for you like the phrase JDM:thumbup:

A resonator, well, it resonates. It reflects sound waves back. Within a given frequency range, this creates destructive interference, canceling out sound

You dont know how to pick up sarcasm very well. Stick around and you may learn to spot it. I think I will deem whats funny or not in my build thread.

Heres the alignment specs I said I would post up, like last week.

As you can see, my front toe was way off, but it was even :) I guess eyeballing works a little bit.

How about that front camber? Needs some evening out and maybe a touch more (-1.5?). Rear could be evened out as well, or is there a reason your running the left side softer?

You are going to have to get used to seeing JDM on everything. Been like that for a while, and its not going anywhere. Better to let those things just slide off your shoulder. Ive never minded the "JDM" thing, but Im not much of a fad person anyways. If I like it, I do it. Not because someone else said it was cool.

and I AM DA BOSS. At least here in this thread

NASCAR BABY!

I assume the rear camber is off, because my adjustable upper control arms are 1/2 frozen. You need to unbolt it from the knuckle, turn it, then bolt it back in to adjust it. When I get some more tools/time I will fix it so it works properly. And yes, the rear toe could be a bit better, but Im fine with it as is.

The front is a different story. The S2 UCA's are maxed out. They wont go any further, so I will always be running a neg camber. Its within range from L to R, and only .3* off, so it doesnt bother me. It does not translate to the steering. The toe could also be better, but its only .04* different. (I know it doesnt look it, but of the left is neg, and the right is positive, then the wheels are pointing the same direction. so the different between the two is only .04, not .12*).

Other note:
Going to have some specs up on this potential header back setup soon. Been measuring some things out to see what I need. By the looks of it, I will need need to cut my B pipe back a bit in order to fit a Carsound cat (either the longer 94000 or the 54000 series) as well as a flex pipe. I think I may try to pick up a MIG welder sooner than I originally expected. Certainly cant drive around with the thing being as noisy as it is. Maybe I will throw my old header/OEM cat on in the meantime. Lord knows how rich I will run then, but at least it wont sound like shit.

This is the 94006, $67 on Ebay. Should have gotten this in the first place.
