im getting the cylinder head done and not the block...and its gonna cost me about 1500 with the P&P, flow bench testing to get all the ports the same CFM, new valve seats, valve guides and installing ITR intake valvesMust be cool to be gettin' all that work done on the blockWas tha pricing decent?

so i went on a little shopping spree to get some stuff when my cylinder head gets back:
Cometic head gasket
OEM valve cover gasket
OEM spark plug gaskets
OEM dizzy o ring gasket
OEM cam seals
DEI header wrap
had an extra bung welded to my catch can for the back of the block
the money did add up pretty quickly, but i consider it cheap insurance for my motor

got the dizzy o ring installed and clean up my dizzy, also installed my new ls/vtec line, remounted the catch can, got the bung out from the back of the block so i can install the breather setup, and started my header wrap here are some pics

thanks, yea the drag strip is like 30 min from gurnee where i live...where do you live?Nice build man i have been scoping this thread for a while. Your not too far from me.

So i got the rest of the header done here are some pics...i needed about 65ft of header wrap (is a vibrant 4-2-1)
also did the rest of the catch can for the back of the block, got the parts from honda today

well the head is getting a P&P job right now with ITR intake valves
the block is going to remain stock until it needs a rebuild

Are the Hawk HC-10 good on the rotors?

yeah from what i have noticed...i know the brembo blank rotors are a "softer" rotor than others but i havent had any problems stopping when on the track
the reason i didnt get really expensive ones is i figured racing will take a toll on any rotors, why not buy some inexpensive ones and just replace as needed
