So i decided to put my carpet back in as well as the center counsel. I guess i was getting tired of just having metal as my floor and i wanted the inside to look a little bit more aesthetically pleasing...be posting up pics soon

UPDATE!! cylinder head done!!

ok so i picked up my cylinder head back from kingmotorsports and they did a phenomenal job with it

Specs:

Before: flowed 197cfm exhaust and 254cfm intake @ 0.500
After: flowed 224cfm exhaust and 275cfm intake @ 0.500

ITR intake valves, GS-R exhaust valves
Valve guides with bronze inserts
skunk2 pro series springs
skunk2 pro series retainers

also head had about 2-3 thousandths taken off..they would of taken off more but i already have piston/valve clearance issues

Also manifold and gasket were matched to cylinder head

and this is what happens when you put some big cams in a Frankenstein motor with not the right valve reliefs..

weird that the S2 valvetrain didn't handle the S2 Stage 1 cams, you should contact S2 and see if they will back there products? wouldn't hurt to try
they do handle the cams, but the stock b20 pistons have 31mm valve reliefs, and the vtec valves are 33mm, and combine that with a .500 lift cam = piston to valve clearance problems

So i went to start it and it would start and just die..

found out that the valve specs for a valve adjustment were all the way loose b/c the shop couldnt do the valve adj. b/c they didnt have the block (obviously)

Got them somewhat in spec and got it to idle correctly...taking it to get the valve adjustment done tomorrow and then she will be all done motor wise

i am re painting the valve cover wrinkle red with VHT paint and doing some bondo work to it where i had the new fitting installed
