He is probably stock, since he is asking what he needs to do to his internals, butWhat parts do you currently have on your car?
You need to base it on power. The block can handle up to about 300HP safely before the cylinder walls are in jeopardy of failing.not trying to thread jack, but out of curiousity...how many lbs of boost are safe to run on stock internals....not just throwing it on the stock motor. replacing head and freshening it all up..but it will still be stock. just wondering what is safe to run before you have to worry about upgrading parts and all that....pretty new to imports.
on a helthy motor that passes comp and leak testsYou need to base it on power. The block can handle up to about 300HP safely before the cylinder walls are in jeopardy of failing.
okay, so any idea aprox. how many lbs that is on a b18a?You need to base it on power. The block can handle up to about 300HP safely before the cylinder walls are in jeopardy of failing.
Other variables control that. The turbo size for one. 10PSI on turbo A will NOT make the same power as 10PSI on turbo B.okay, so any idea aprox. how many lbs that is on a b18a?
