He is probably stock, since he is asking what he needs to do to his internals, but
since Im replying heres the stuff you need really

Piston & Rods
Valves, Springs, Retainers
Head Studs
Water Pump
Timing Belt
Ignition
Aftermarket Head Gasket
Fuel Injectors
EMS/FMS such as Hondata or AEM-EMS

Probably the most Important are in Bold
wait you mean just replace the timing belt and water pump right?? or is there an upgrade your supposed to do?

what size is the turbo? how stock is the motor?

6psi is a mild bolt on setup for most NA motors so I assume it's a stock internal motor? if you want 15psi that's more than double so minimum you'll need to strengthen the bottom end with stronger crank, pistons, then there's the issue of fuel delivery and cooling. bigger injectors, better fuel pump, oil cooler, better rad, bigger intercooler.

I don't want to start a thread for this question and its still on topic for what the guy asked in the beginning... when you say timing belt and water pump do you mean replace it or is there aftermarket upgrades to get when boosting? the reason i want to know is because i have an Acura timing belt and water pump in my back seat waiting to go in and i don't want to put it in if there's some thing else i should be using...I'm going boost this winter.

(i don't see how those parts would make a difference but you put it up there and i figure its better i ask)

i think he means you should use new for those particular items as it would be foolish to put in all that gear for boost but keep an old water pump and timing belt.

1.psi doesn't mean anything, its about the size of the turbo, what size turbo will you be using?

2. to make around 300-350 with a turbo on a gsr motor you will need low compression pistons.

3. While you have the motor apart id get some forged/shot peened rods (if you build the head you will be able to rev higher with them), some arp head studs and rod bolts, get the crank balanced and polished and some other minor stuff.

but if your on a budget id just get low comp pistons, arp headstuds, and atleast 600cc injectors

you will also need a Tune, you cant do anything without a good solid tune

Ok sorry I kinda Abandoned this thread I haven't been online in a while... that being said thanks for all the helpful responses. As far as I know the internals are stock as far as pistons crank and all that... fuel injectors 1000cc not sure about the fuel pump and the turbo is a t3/t4... I'm not sure how much power the car is currently putting out and I don't have a specific hp number in mind... I just know i want a little more... a bigger "boost when the turbo kicks in. The car is a DD so not looking to race just want to have some fun... 15 is just a number i through out there so if not 15 how much? to notice a difference... and i plan on having the car tuned i've been looking for a local shop I trust. also car is already equipped with Hondata

good thread, can i thread jack too lol? i have a 90 ls, blew a head gasket and motor is in half right now. im getting the head resurfaced and pressure tested but other than that leaving it stock, since i have the block out what should i do to beef it up? i want to spend around $800 if i can, was thinking of pistons and rods but i have no idea what to get, and if i can avoid having to get aftermarket rods and just getting pistons that would be cool too. long story short, specifically what pistons do u recommend and what head gasket do u recommend(i want to get an affordable kit and boost 12-16lbs hopefully make at least 250whp, these are my goals, thanks for the help
