Hi i am new to the boost world and I'm am curious about what upgrades need to be made to my internals so that my teg can handle more boost, currently at 6psi... I would like around 12-15psi, any good links or list for suggested upgrades would be appreciated

What parts do you currently have on your car?
He is probably stock, since he is asking what he needs to do to his internals, but
since Im replying heres the stuff you need really

Piston & Rods
Valves, Springs, Retainers
Head Studs
Water Pump
Timing Belt
Ignition
Aftermarket Head Gasket
Fuel Injectors
EMS/FMS such as Hondata or AEM-EMS

Probably the most Important are in Bold

^Yes, + a tune. It's probably not safe if you want to push over 15 psi, without a tune.

The real question is:

How much power are you making, and how much power do you want to make. Until thats known, there really isnt a gameplan except throwing parts at it.

not trying to thread jack, but out of curiousity...how many lbs of boost are safe to run on stock internals....not just throwing it on the stock motor. replacing head and freshening it all up..but it will still be stock. just wondering what is safe to run before you have to worry about upgrading parts and all that....pretty new to imports.

You need to base it on power. The block can handle up to about 300HP safely before the cylinder walls are in jeopardy of failing.

okay, so any idea aprox. how many lbs that is on a b18a?
Other variables control that. The turbo size for one. 10PSI on turbo A will NOT make the same power as 10PSI on turbo B.

You would have to see some one elses setup, and see what turbo they used to get a ballpark estimate on what to get to make what power. The tune is a big factor in how much power you make and how reliable your set up is.
