i was thinking about upgrading my crappy gsr intake manifold to an aftermarket one but im not sure whih one offers the best performance. anyone know which one of these is a better buy? or know of any other intake manifold brands that i forgot to mention?

word is that eldelbrock victor x is good, but doesn't have much bottom end power, but more top end. Skunk2 is apparently better balanced with an equal amount of bottom end and top end gain.

I LOVE my Skunk2 as said above very well balanced for a N/A setup....If you're planning on going turbo though I'd say Victor X

according to many sources of unreliable info(forums) blox is an exact copy of older skunk2 IM

skunk 2 recently released a skunk 2 PRO version of their intake.
but again. wheres the specs for any of them.
precise measurements side by side would be nice
bcasuse it might be just a trick from skunk 2 in order to steer people away from cheaper blox IM.

post measurements if you can find them, i think i ve seen them somewhere but im overloaded with info and cant remember at the moment.

i think that the skunk is a little more but probably worth it compared to the edelbrock. i will keep checking to see if anyone else puts on stats for these. i also will look and see about stats else where i want to know as well before i buy

i would go with a skunk2 there the only ones i can find stats on theres and they offer the power threw the rpm while the edelbrock only does high rpms and the x is 7500 + for power. be your best bet with the skunk , dont know about the blox

victor x is actually built for cars that rev up to or over 10k

Blox supplies skunk2 with stuff and skunk2 supplies blox with stuff they are owned by the same parent company i think

theres no point of getting an aftermarket i/m if you dont have internals
x2

it sounds like my gsr manifold is leaking
either get a type r style one or another one.
