bracket for the wilwoods came in... and it was time for a minor install :p


comparsion of the new 260mm disc bracket vs the 240mm one.



after a temporary install... they fit nice and snug :thumbup:






and a pic of the horrorifying headless block :p


im planning to have the calipers cleaned and painted in black wrinkle... once thats done ill install the wilwood ss front brake lines... im still undecided what to do to the rear... but thats another story... iill probably get some ss lines for the rears at least.

that shit is coming out hard!!! im just waiting to see that shit painted and ready to own all!!! by the way instead of ebp have u considered supersonic blue pearl??? i have that on my gsr factory and that shit changes from blue to purple depending on the angle....

very nice build up...just read the whole thing took lke 1.5 hours...makes me wish i had your skills, money, and time to do that to my car....but no garage to park her in right now :-\.....

UPDATE
work got me busy for the past couple weeks... not much has been done... the c1 is still in the bay. after some thought... i am giong to rebuild the c1 first to be able to drive, and the c5 on the side... priority chnaged... it happens. :p

so for the interior... i'm planning to replace the grey with black. such as the carpet and panels After removing all that crap, the carpet was fucking filthy, but comparing it to the black aftermarket carpet mold i bought online, the fitment and quality of it is... IMO [7/10]. its going to require a lot of part on my end to make sure it turns out nice and flush. probably end up using some adhesive spray and a rubber hammer.



and i FINALLY found one of these after i was about to settle for a ASR brace.


the suspension is slowly comming along, next would be LCAs and coilovers

Make sure ya got your seatbelts on with the Wilwoods... I had em on my 94GSR. Also get used to checking your rearview mirror when you brake as the guy behind you won't stop as fast as you will.

its been awhile... but its raining so i go some free time off work :thumbup:

TIME FOR AND UPDATE!!!... so out with the out tiny weak gsr strut and in wit the beefy comptech sway setup. shits no joke compared to the stock. i also compared it to the extra comptech rear sway bar, and its also for sale :p. the black sway bar should be a version1 sway bar with the kit w/o the lower tie bar. it has bends in the bar unlike the silver one. :what:






so onto the install... you gotta love comptech and their engineering. i eventually want to get it all powder coated black for s stealth look, but the bling will do for now. haha. the install is pretty straight forward, however im not sure how it will end up connecting to the LCAs, i think im missing spaers but im not sure if they are required... we'll see soon enough.





thats all for now, awaiting on some teins and f7s to finish it off. i want to get the ball rolling soon on the motor C1 rebuild so i can start driving again, i miss it.

Haha...guess what. I got that Comptech piece and installed it before you!

God that's probably the best thing on my car next to the SSRs.
