Well i know there is an alarm in my car i have no remote i got nothing for it i know if i bring it in to get a new one they remove that one and put another one in but i was just wondering above the drivers side feet there is a whole mess of wires would that be for the alarm?? Does the alarm contain alot of wires and stuff and its just stuffed in on the plastic and it falls out often so im wondering if that could be alarm wires? i can take a pic if its to vague just let me know.

pictures are worth a thousand words. Normally the alarm is just a little box (the brain) with a bunch of wires connected to it. Have you tried looking at where those wires run? Every installer has a different preference on where to hide the brain, and other security ideas so it's hard to say.

Heck the wires you're describing could connect to the flux capacitor for all we know.

Alright well i got a few pictures ill explain them.
Sorry that there kind of big but well this is a picture of all the wires that ust hang its near my clutch.

Just another picture of the mess. and also wht is that black thing? i unscreed it and it looks like a bulb with a piece of metal i guess in side the glass..

Those orange wires are from the mess also

This is a picture of some of the wires going up under the dash? theres like two sets of them

Showing the one yellow wire from the mess goes through thereto i have no idea where

This im guessing is the light for the alarm which has never came on or anything

Please help i really dont like this mess and if this is for the alarm i would jus like to remove all the wires and just throw them out im really trying to get the car to the way i want it before its on the road and i want this wires in the correct place or gone if its the alarm..

you'll need to follow the wires and locate the "brain" of the alarm...

most likely... if you buy another complete alarm... its plug and play. you'd reuse the old wires and harness from the previous alarm.

all those wires should lead to the "brain" if it is an alarm. its a black module, a lil smaller than a cd case, with the name of the brand and model. Almost 75%'ish of the time the brain is located underneath the dash of the driver side.

if you dont really have experience with electronics and wiring, i probably wouldn't attempt this. mainly because we dont know what the previous owner did.

Wait... What?
that and you need to look on team integra and find out what color the oem wire s are... then you follow every wire that isn't listed in the color chart and very carefully remove it.

if you feel comfortable tinkering with wires...

basically the way the alarms are hooked up is that, a wire is cut in the middle, one end leading into the brain, the other end out of the brain. So the alarm acts as this really huge switch. So if there is a white/blue spliced with an orange, and another with white\blue to yellow, you rejoin the white\blue, at the same time disconnecting the orange and yellow wires. I dont know if that makes sense to you.

that black thing you dont what it is, that's a fuse. it probably is an alarm or remote start. take it to any circuit city or best buy and they should remove it for like 50 bucks

That is one serious hack-job of an install. I think it's an alarm, even I'm having trouble making sense out of that mess. I think I see a starter kill hooked up, which would mean an alarm (3rd pic down, the big orange wires). I can tell by the colors of the wires that it's a brand of alarm I'm not familiar with (it's not made by DEI, or maybe it is but it's older than dirt). To find the brain you need to follow where those wires go, like other people have already said. Take off the dash under the steering wheel so you can really get in there and see what's going on. The brain isn't going to be in any particular place, if it's done aftermarket by an installer, then it'll be wherever the installed decided to put it, and we can't read his mind and relay the information to you, lol.
