so yea... after some hunting and window shopping... i found a couple nice things to buy/sell/trade. and by the end of the day... i ended up with some new go0dies that will help out with rebuild. so far... im almost complete with the suspension. along with the exterior... not so sure about the ITR wing now... since i dont have the 5 lug. :what:

haven't really done much, awaiting for the rotors to be cut so i can install the wilwoods, along with bleeding the brakes. ill probably uninstall the header back and rip out the carpet. we'll see how it all goes.

so yea... onto the whoring of parts.

sittin on the new jackstands i bought from summit.

So, i finally had some time and cam around to test fitting the wilwood along with the volks... come to find out the wilwoods look lovely as hell... so do the volks... HOWEVER... it wont clear the caliper.. which ws a huge disappointment to me. car so close but yet still so far... i took a couple pics to share to you what i see and hopefully we can think of solution that doesn't resolve me selling either or of the products.

Wilwood 12.19" Dynalite Big Brake Kit
w/
16x7 Volk Ce28ns w/ +42 Offset

**THE WHEELS DO SPIN FREELY ONCE ITS ABOUT .5 INCHES FURTHER OUT**

~first thing is, i want to try and shave off as much as i can off the calipers... but my question is... is it a good idea... can anything bad result in it?

**IF I CAN'T GET IT TO FIT BY SHAVING SOME OF THE CALIPER OFF... THEN THE VOLKS WOULD BASICALLY BE A DAILY/SHOW WHEELs becase i will use SPACERS//ADAPTERS... and get some 17s for track :what:**

~next if that doesn't work... i was thnking about a spacer, and from what i understand is there are 2 types? one is basically... a spacer - a thin aluminum/magesium/metal piece and use some ARP extended studs... OR... a adapter kit that screws in the existing studs and has its own studs on the spacer? now which one is BETTER/SAFER?

~also... what about the 11.8 size rotors? will my Dynalite calipers still work with different brackets?!?!?!?

possibly H&R DR 15mm Wheel Spacers?

here are the pics...

anyone have any HELPFUL suggestions?!?!?! i really want to keep both of them.

I'll KICK YA FUCKIN AASS!
a Type R front lip with your setup in the first pic would've been golden
Get the spacers. It won't hurt anything and you'll get the fitment you've been looking for. That's the problem with the big brake upgrades is that finding a 16" wheel to fit over them is iffy without spacers or vast wheel knowledge.

we've already concluded that a spacer wouldn't solve the probem, a spacer is stating the obvious, its a wrong size bracket. look at the caliper placement

as far as the type r goes... golden for you... not me. I DONT SETTLE FOR LESS... nor for other folks. i do what i do!!!
