started up the car the other day to move it around to get ready for the strip the ride... check engine light went away... but the problem them is still there. since its at a cold idle... 2rpm it starts knocking... but once i pop it gear and drop below 2k rpm... it sounds fine.
ill have to barrow an engine hoist along with possibly buying an engine stand. not to only tear this biatch down and see whats wrong... but to hold up the next possible motor.
As far as Kseries go... not possible being daily driven since the damn motor is nearly impossible to get it bar'd and street legal. otherwise it can only be a pure race car and i'd have to get a beater. thats a no go. So im left with either a rebuild... and if i do... might as well go aftermarket parts --OR-- ITR B18C5.
So the new goal now is to go with the more realistic and less evasive Integra Type R Motor... then later down the road, jrsc'd to compete with the k series. and oh... i just ordered a new vanity plate... so hopefully it comes soon.
