what did you do to your car today?

Finally replaced the lifts in my hatch! Oh man it feels so naughty to have a hatch that supports itself and doesn't fall on you and split your head open. $36 for the pair of lifts from Amazon, such a deal considering that the dealership wanted $190 for a pair of oem lifts.

But but but, I like crawling through my hatch while it cloases on me beecause my doors are frozen shut in the winter time...

Yeah, but I'm full time in college with only 7 hour work weeks. I need a new job and the time to do it. I wanna go GSR over summer, so I may do HG and Timing belt on the LS for now and use my resources at school to make sure it's in tip top shape.

Started on the front strut I got one strut/spring assembly off the car. I was on a hunt for a special socket to remove the spring from the strut but lucky a European shop let me borrow his socket. Tomorrow going to finish up the struts and get it to the wheel alignment place. My car is just sitting on the car lift.

I feel you. I am a full time student too. I go to school 5 days a week for a total of 36 hours, but I also work full time as well (48 hours a week) to pay for school...and of course car parts. I don't get much sleep though and it isn't very healthy, but it is possible. Give and take man. I am sure there is time you can give up somewhere to get more income.

¡AY, CARAMBA!
When my headgasket went bad, my oil never really turned milky and my car never smoked. The only thing that I noticed was like 1 oily swirl on my dipstick. Ended up being a leaky headgasket.

That probably won't help you, but I figured I'd share..
Oh no......

Checked the oil, pretty much became depressed at that moment.

Oh dear...Every car owners' worst nightmare. My car is blowing out white smoke in super warm weather, sometimes. I can't pinpoint it to HG until I do a compression test...
