what did you do to your car today?

Cleaned my '96 gsr inside out, removed rust from rims, applied rain-x all around, and coated the wing with clear coat. It was a cosmetic type of day.

Valve Cover gasket replacement and I sill cant figure out what's causing white smoke out of exhaust. I'm not losing coolant or overheating. Oil looks superbly dark brown. Coolant is green as ever. No evidence of milky brown under my valve cover.

I'm doing a compression test and leakdown test, later. I did the combustion leak test and it was fine.

I don't know what smoke smells like. It doesn't smell like burning coolant.

Are you talking about pushing in the crossed piston?
When my headgasket went bad, my oil never really turned milky and my car never smoked. The only thing that I noticed was like 1 oily swirl on my dipstick. Ended up being a leaky headgasket.

That probably won't help you, but I figured I'd share.

On another note, I'm still waiting for the car.

Maybe when I have rims haha. On stock I think it would be tacky. Did you use a brush or what?

Honestly, does an amazing job and gets the water out of all the nooks and crannies

The process I do is, a few coats of the pink paint stripper Lowe's sells *in bed and not getting up to see the brand name*, 320-400-600-800-1000-1500 grit wet sanding then polish
