Not much, changed my oil.. Just broke 100 miles on the new motor over the weekend.

changed the oil, silencer for the n1 came in and I threw that on, sounds good at idle, ill see how well it works tomorrow

Looked at the oil pan gasket trying to narrow down where this new oil leak is coming from...two of the bolts on the pan were kinda loose, must have missed those in the torque pattern (oops). So I tightened those and cleaned off the area. Hopefully that was all it is. If not, it also could be from the leak coming out of the head and the oil is just working it's way down the block and around the seam of the oil pan to the front corner and dripping down from the low point there. If so that also would be a good thing because that's not a new leak I didn't know about. Fuckin oil leaks are gonna be the death of me. Grr...

Drove my car for the first time in a month. New suspension and all. I've fallen in love all over again. I've gotten a new found love and motivation for my car. I just wish I had the knowledge/skills to build more of the complex components. Like the engine and what not.

Valve Cover gasket replacement and I sill cant figure out what's causing white smoke out of exhaust. I'm not losing coolant or overheating. Oil looks superbly dark brown. Coolant is green as ever. No evidence of milky brown under my valve cover.

I'm doing a compression test and leakdown test, later. I did the combustion leak test and it was fine.

I don't know what smoke smells like. It doesn't smell like burning coolant.

Are you talking about pushing in the crossed piston?

Just pads. My rotors are fine. And I don't have money for new ones currently. Pushing the piston in was the easy part compaired to the rest. My caliper brackets were all rusted and falling apart.
