nah, the pistons have to be twisted/screwed back into the calipers, they don't just push in.
That works for the front. Rears need to be twisted in. Trust me it will save you a ton of time.I just use a old brake pad and c clamp.

When my headgasket went bad, my oil never really turned milky and my car never smoked. The only thing that I noticed was like 1 oily swirl on my dipstick. Ended up being a leaky headgasket.Valve Cover gasket replacement and I sill cant figure out what's causing white smoke out of exhaust. I'm not losing coolant or overheating. Oil looks superbly dark brown. Coolant is green as ever. No evidence of milky brown under my valve cover.
I'm doing a compression test and leakdown test, later. I did the combustion leak test and it was fine.
I don't know what smoke smells like. It doesn't smell like burning coolant.
Are you talking about pushing in the crossed piston?
