Honestly bro, your gonna get yourself into the same stuff I did, I am 17, but have been sitting on my integra with a 2000 b18b1 since September of last year, Yes very sad but I didn't know what I was getting into, I think the thought of having a Honda excited me so I jumped on it, plus I'm having to do it all myself, so I had to learn and teach myself, but your starting off good by asking around, I'm nearly done due to me asking the people on this forum and a few others.
Just make sure you got the right tools and brains and help if needed, for this type of work, I can't even stress how hard it will be to convert to a MANUAL. It's A LOT more than shift linkage and a shift boot. Don't forget the little things. Clutch switch? Wiring in a clutch switch plug for the switch it self. It will be too much work and money. You are better off saving up for another integra or Honda(I would've chosen a hatchback honestly ) and then swap the motor for that. It'd be easier for one, as long as u get an Eg or Ek hatch, and the whole converting obd thing will be much easier. Take it from someone who is your age and has already made the mistake.
