I'm pretty sure a b18 won't fit but a b16 will, you'll have to spend 300$ on mounts though. A refurbished b16 runs about 1599, I just rather drop that in my d16. A b16 is only 158hp.

b18 will fit but your gunna have to do extensive surgery. Gunna need to cut out some panels to make room and you HAVE to get rid of the power steering pump.. Not enough room between it and the firewall.

Yeah b16 is way better choice. Very little work that needs to be done

Turbo charging the d16 would be easy, just remove all that intake crap you don't need. Replace the radiator with a smaller one if need be and remove the AC I think...

Me personally, I can take that 1500 for a b16 and build my d16 into a beast. that's me though, I don't see paying 1500 for a 158hp motor when I can pay 1500 and get 200+ out of mine. I'm like you though, money is tight for a minute so I'm just focusing on getting my motor and body ready for the insane modding I'm gonna do.

You can use the fifth gear out of a 3rd gen accord or a 2nd gen prelude. And yes right now I'm doing my teg a part a time, the motor suppose to run like a new one. But I've had to find a new gas tank and buy a fuel pump. So once I get the fuel system straight I can crank it. Maybe lol

Damn thats awhile of sitting. right after i bought mine it jus quit on me like i ran out of gas. Turned out to be the distributor cost me 250 for a new 1.

Just keep in mind that if you turbo it your gunna have to change out your cams, valves, and piston rings. Older engines with some miles cant hold the pressure. And dont forget the intercooler.. Kinda pointless to turbo without one.

Got mine for 600. No problems. Timing belt was off a tooth on the exhaust cam. When I fixed it the idle got all messed up cause they made everything out of wak to compensate for the poor idle before. Lol Fucking idiots. Drives and runs like a dream now though. Cold idle is a little too low for my liking right now though but thats because There is a lot of dense water fog on my way to work in the morning

Thats how mine was. Dued had the fans wired into the distributor. Fuel filter hanging. Stripped the oil pan. I dont think he knew shit bout cars lol. Brand new timing belt, but he didnt tighten the tensioner!
