I like this answer Seriously though you won't get support this year either. I'm glad that you are trying to better the earth, but there are plenty of other ways to do it (such as recycling, using water in moderation, turning the lights off when you leave a room). However, on an integra forum your not going to get people want to get 29 miles to the gallon rather than 28. We love our cars and are willing to pay that extra couple dollars to do what we enjoy....Yes because i'm going to give up the only thing that gives me reason to wake up in the morning, Motorsports is more important to me than saving earth
That is a great point. People seem to "know" everything about their cars on here but aren't willing to get some fact based information. You can't tell how good your engine oil is based on its smell or its darkness. I hope some of you actually read the link instead of making assumptions and just responding to complain about me "saving the world!" I obviously cant do that...But the OP is right about used oil analysis. There is no reason no to do it. People will change their oil at 3,000 miles because they are "concerned about their engine." But then aren't concerned enough to take in some facts and actually see what is going on inside. The oil can tell you a lot about what is going on inside your engine as well as to nail down an actual relevant interval.
I could write tons of stuff about these other issues but those are not related to this forum nor this thread which is why they are not discussed here. Not everyone on this forum is looking to burn gas going straight on the freeway. I don't know why you guys talk as if you hit VTEC the entire time you drive. When im not looking to have fun, im just commuting somewhere, I like to drive efficiently, this saves gas for me for when I want to drive like a maniac!:suprise:Charly[horse];1085952 said:I'm glad that you are trying to better the earth, but there are plenty of other ways to do it (such as recycling, using water in moderation, turning the lights off when you leave a room). I think this question is similar to my question on page 3. I'm still confused to this day.Help fight terrorism by driving slower? I can't connect these two ideas at all. Does this mean if I drive faster, the chance of a terrorist attack happening will increase? They didn't teach this in college...
