Baby Ollie
Pokemon Master
I recently had my oil changed. I've now put 70 miles on the car and am noticing a ticking a noise at low idles, especially when the engine revs down. I've tried my best to record it for you all.
Here's what I've noticed looking into it.
1. There seems to be about an extra quart of oil in the car. (picture below)
2. They put in 5/20 when the manual calls for 5/30.
The car seems to drive okay, but I'm worried about the extra oil and the wrong oil weight.
Could the "ticking" noise be caused by this? Is there a reason they put a different oil weight in? I know that it was 5/30 previously in my car.
The car is a 2000 GS Coupe with 100,200 miles on it.
I'm working on uploading the sound recording of the engine now.
