The teflon tape worked out pretty good. My fuel map was all over the place the first run at the dyno. My car was running super rich. I still managed to pull 157 whp with a 50 shot. I swapped my plugs out an readjusted the fuel a little bit and pulled 156whp (temp was almost 5 degrees warmer) and the curve was a lot smoother. My plan is to get an safc and have it tuned with the 75 shot. The tuner at Speed quest said he wouldn't have a problem getting my car to pull 190 hp. I was rather happy with the result since my friends na built gsr that pulled 175 last week only pulled 143 and my other freinds k-pro tuned rsx s pulled 181. I'm guessing I'm sitting at 160 right now. Not bad for an automatic gs.
thats with nitrous though right ? so how much hp you pushin without it ?

Don't know. After I get my car retuned, I want to get a base pull to see what my car pulls normally. I was kind of scared at first cause I heard that if you lean out at all your car at all, you'll get detonation. I was running super rich and the map was all over the place. I'm still running rich but at least the curves smooth.

I cant stress it enough. Find a shop that sells and tunes HONDATA and buy an s100 system. Non tuned I only made 130 hp on a "chipped" ecu. I changed to hondata and instantly jumped to 165 with tons of room to improve. Its well worth the money.

I've read that hondata doesn't work with an automatic transmission. I haven't really looked into it that much yet. The guy at the dyno said that he could get my fuel curve almost perfect with an safc. Sometime later in the summer or early in the fall I'm going go back and have it retuned. The main thing was getting the kit in my car before I get married next month.

hmm I dunno about the automatic thing being a problem. except for one of my buddies racer an auto crx and hes getting s300 for his car. Congrats on getting married

The soon-to-be wife isn't into cars, but she doesn't really care what I spend my money on. Basically the car is better than spending money on the bars like what I used ot. I got a little one on the way and I'm inheriting a step daughter. My goal was to add boost before the wedding which I've done. More-or-less I have to have most of my big purchases before november. I'll probably buy another car next year which will give me the opportunity to do more with this one, since this is my daily driver.

Anyway, heres that dyno sheet Disco. I'm getting it tuned a couple of weeks, and stepping up to a 75hp shot. The same day that I went, there was a kid with a civic type r with a b18c5 in it. He only pulled 166 whp with bolt on's. That rules out the ITR beating your built frankenstein.

We are the unappreciated red headed step children of the racing world. Everone constantly dogs on nitrous but if you look at the fastest cars on the drag strips there almost always running nitrous in some way.

So I took the car to the track friday night and it ran great but still no where near fast enough due to traction issues. So that night when I got home I ordered a set of BFG drag radials. We will see what happent this friday.

I give props to nitrous users that do it right. build up their engine to handle it and use it to its full potential. I give props to both of you.

My goal for right now is 200whp. This doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm running an automatic, no vtech, and this is my daily driver. Plus, it has to be reliable, so lots of time spent tuning.
