Who's running nitrous?

Broken Talon I couldnt agree more about the driving talent comment. Ive never ran on the quarter mile. Our track here is a 1/8 mile. I like it, its alot of fun. In fact I just got home 10 min ago from another test and tune night that I got 14 runs in. Almost all on the Nitrous. Im still working out a few bugs in the set up of the car. So I really have no idea what the car should run but it ran a 9.3 at 81 Mph tonight. The Mph shows that the car has alot more potential than a lousy 9.3 on a 100 shot. Running 81 mph the car has 8.6 in it if I could ever get it to shift propper and improve my 60ft. So theres a way to tell by doing some math what it would run in the 1/4 but I dunno how to figure it. Ill be runnin at "Import Face Off" in November in Montgomery Alabama. That track is a 1/4 so ill find out then. I just hope all the bugs are worked out by then.

Well I ran the Nitrous last night with a 100 shot and the new tranny and still cant get the car to make power. Im driving the heck out of it and its still shifting poorly. Not as bad as the old transmission but not perfect. I only got it down to a 9.33 at 82 mph. Remember the track is only an 1/8 mile. The Mph is good for alot faster times but my 60 fts suck and the car makes most of its power in 3rd from what I feel in the seat. I love the new gearing on the trans and the lsd. Heres a poor vid.

R just means its OBD2 and has tons more restrictions on tuning ability. My tuned p72 on crome will deffinantly whoop that Type Arrrr ass. My car is an ITR killa ill just drop the lame discussion before it gets dumb

type R is still a nice stock looking car. True just cuz its a R don't mean its fast, it's the driver!!I like NOS, I used it backed in '01 and ran quick times n mph....anything that gets u going m all for it.

You should be running slicks if your going to try to launch like that. You can see the car bog bad on the launch.

Wouldnt slicks add more traction and bog the motor even more launching at 5ooo. I can see launching at higher rpm with slicks for sure. Im not being argumenative at all I just want more advice. And I do have future plans for slicks but i really want the car to max out on street tires first ya know!!! :)

Ohh youre right I just rewatched the vid and the car did bog like a mother on that one. I dunno what happned on that run ill see if I have a better one. But that was a 9.5 run so thats only 2 tenths off my fastest time so maybe I am boging on my launches lemmie review the video further.

If it's doing that launching at 5k than you need to launch higher but it doesn't seem like you had any tire spin at all so I don't know if you were feathering the throttle or what but you defenitly need to push your launches harder to get the times down. Especially in the 1/8th

awe that was a really poor launch but the only one that came out on video ill post more next weekend. If I dont drive the car just right the tires spin like a son of a gun. but I drive it to keep the spin down.

Do you have an LSD? If not, that will help. Not with the spin so much, but you wont do the "peg leg" (one wheel burn out) anymore.
